Surprise! My neighbor is a pedaphile.

Question

So we have had te same neighbors to the left of us for the past 30 years. They have been good neighbors and they both have had numerous interactions with my family. So my wife asked me on a day she was home sick week before last would the hospital she works for send someone to check on her being sick because ths guy was parked in front of the neighbors house going on 4 hours. I told her don't worry, they wouldn't and he probably was doing paper work and pulled on to our block to get off the road. So a week ad a half goes by and our new neighbor on the right asks my wife about the number of cars that pulled up at our neighbors house and went in. So my wife thinking anything of it asked the neighbor on our left if they had heard anything this week with multiple cars and such. According to my wife He went inside right away but his wife stood there and told my wife they were there for her husband because he has been watching child porn on the computer since he lost his job about a year ago. Wife comes inside and tells me this story and I had to set her straight that a 65 year old man doesn't ordinarilly just start watching child porn at 64 after losing his job. It is likely he has been doing this for years and years but someone who knows him likely got caught and they flipped on him.

He has always come across as a nice guy and had helped me with some vehicle issues in the past. My dog always goes looking for him when outside and says hello to him and is happy to see him. I have decided to stay back and not confront him but I deplore people that have sick minds like that and would like to beat him silly. I will call the police i a heart beat if I see anyone looking young going next door that doesn't belong.

How would you'll handle this? I would like some real answers and not just macho bullshit.

im a bit confused.  why were multiple cars pulling up and multiple people going inside simply because he was caught watching some child porn?  maybe expand on that some more.  are we talking cops?  psych ward?  or he is running his own little child sex ring out of that house?

Shoot up his house. Try to intimidate him into leaving. Walk right up and hit his front door with a shotgun. That way you don&#x27;t have to worry about a bullet going through a wall and hitting someone.

Guy has problems but it doesn&#x27;t mean he will act out on them.I like your plan of hanging back because more of this issue will be revealed in the near future IMO.At least you know what the deal is and can maneuver around the situation.

with all the Ring doorbell cameras and Nest outdoor cameras I&#x27;m not sure its worth doing anything intimidating as you will be left with litigation if he chooses to pursue that route.  for now I would just do nothing and take solace in the fact he is prolly going away for a bit or at the very least lives a pretty solitary life as a Piece of Sh*t and now everyone knows it.
