Hong Kong and Macau are awesome, but mainland China sucks ass. People are rude as shit and dirty. If you go, only do so for the Great Wall and get the hell out of there, just to say that you've seen in in person. It really is amazing. I highly recommend Kyoto, Japan or even Tokyo or Osaka for that matter. Beautiful country and awesome people! Just got back from Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, and Bali. Bali is beautiful if you're looking for a really nice resort type atmosphere and want to relax. Singapore is like NYC imo, just a giant modern city with great shopping if you're into that. Kuala Lumpur is a little dumpier, but just another giant/crowded city. The Petronas Towers are pretty amazing though! I hear Vietnam is awesome too, and your dollar will go a long ways there. Have fun man!

Yeah I was also only thinking of seeing the great wall and in Macau I have to get business done for my company and than off to the beaches of Thailand and Bali is on my list now
I have been to Japan already, yeah great places there.
