OK. in al seriousness. I have been wanting to get a tattoo. I dont have any yet but I have wanted one for a long time.
However, I want to get something that means something. Preferably something to symbolize my mother or mother and father. They are both still living. But I dont really have any ideas and the internet sucks to find them.
I would appreciate as much help as possible..
THANKS

I've never seen a single person with a tattoo of their mother's favorite number And if you think thats a good thing because noone has it.............youre wrong.
idea.
You can always get a portrait of one of your parents. With some kind of R.I.P. or something around it. [When they pass of course....whats your rush anyway?] You can add some other ideas around that tattoo.

I just don't get the whole tattoo thing. I think they look trashy. I would never hire anyone with a tattoo they couldn't cover with regular clothing. Why would anyone want to do that to their body. It's like smoking, it is just not cool.

Be different by NOT getting a tat. Why not use the money and take your parents out or simply donate it to charity. Must be nice to have money to throw away on something that you will probably regret in 10 years.
I'm not trying to be a blowhard, but tattoos are one of the dumbest ideas ever. I wonder why people get them. For attention? To rebel? Fuck, get a crazy haircut; at least that will grow back.
I see so many people that are covered in tats but live poorly. They have plenty on cash for tattoos but can't save enough money for a house or decent car. I was young and thought about getting one...so glad that I didn't.
Think about it man, that motherfucker is permanent. Liek I said before, be original by not getting inked

tats are cool in my opinion, when done in good tastes and in moderation. I applaud you for wanting to do something to honor your parents. Good luck with whatever you choose

Get a picture of them both. Make sure it shows their eyes good. Get each ones eyes on your shoulder blades. like they will always be looking over your shoulder and protecting your back

My advice is, you are not ready for a tattoo. If you have to ask other people what you should be getting tattooed, the best bet is to not get one. I understand you want to honor your parents, which is great, but you do not want to get something you will regret. Remember tattoos are for yourself not for anybody else. Make sure what you decide on is meaningful to you. Do not get a tattoo just for the sake of getting a tattoo. When you think of something that will honor your parents make sure you put it somewhere on your body that can be covered by a short sleeve shirt, or if you want it on your legs get used to pants. Society still holds a negative connotation of people with tattoos, you do not want to be unfairly judged because you have some ink showing.
