I&#x27;m tired of the bad that the media crams down our throats every day. I&#x27;m looking for some good news. Seeing that it&#x27;s a sports forum, let&#x27;s focus on athletes making a positive impact on someone&#x27;s life. Case file #1 :Even though he plays in Indianapolis these days, former Houston Texans star receiver Andre Johnson kept up his annual holiday tradition of hosting a shopping spree for Houston children Tuesday.Every year since 2007, Johnson gives kids 80 seconds to grab as much stuff as they can at a local Toys R Us, then he pays the bill at the end. This year, 12 children from Harris County&#x2019;s Child Protective Services took part in the shopping spree and hit Johnson with a total bill of $18,030.25.Feel free to share more during this time of giving.

That&#x27;s great Hawk.  Fabulous is an understatement! You gotta love it!  You ever take part in your local team&#x27;s tradition?  I would love to set something up like this in my community at our local rink.  If I was an owner of a minor league team,  I would grant free admission to anyone who brings &gt;2 stuffed animals to the game.  Chuck those suckers on the ice after the first home team goal. If you bring over 5, you get a free snack and drink.  Non-alcoholic of course.  After all, booze is a money maker at sporting events. There are so many countless promotional ideas to run with!

Charity is all a load of b-llshit, It&#x27;s a way of making chumps like yourselves feel better, &#x27;Ooooh we threw some teddy bears onto an ice rink for some disabled kids, How nice are we, Ooooh&#x27;. You really want to give charity, Adopt an Orphan or go find a few homeless people, Help them get a part time job and full time accommodation, Charity is not money or throwing stupid teddy bears onto an ice rink, It&#x27;s devoting time and truly caring.Another thing, Andre Johnson the guy who earns 100&#x27;s of millions of dollars, Donates $18,030, Wow, How generous of him.

Clayton Kershaw donates significant portions of his paychecks to causes in Africa, including his program called Kershaw's Challenge. He and his wife, Ellen, run the program, which aims to change the lives of at-risk children and communities.

Clayton and Ellen also run an orphanage in Lukasa, Zambia, for which Kershaw was honored with the Branch Rickey Award in 2013. The award honors “individuals in baseball who contribute unselfishly to their communities and who are strong role models for young people."

Kershaw also supports various other programs, including Habitat for Humanity. In 2012, he was given the Roberto Clemente Award, which honors the top humanitarian Major League Baseball player. You can bet that when he cashes in on an inevitable nine-digit paycheck in the future, Kershaw will put a great deal of it toward his charity work.

It’s crazy that things like this go unnoticed in the mainstream media but we are here to share the report-What’s better than scoring touchdowns in the NFL? For former NFL great Warrick Dunn it is scoring life changing moments for deserving people. Via his nonprofit, Warrick Dunn Charities, Dunn successfully provided his 139th home to a single mom. Something you probably won’t hear about in the mainstream media, but no worries because notoriety isn’t the motivation for Dunn. He just wants to make a difference in the lives of people that need help.
