Even though he plays in Indianapolis these days, former Houston Texans star receiver Andre Johnson kept up his annual holiday tradition of hosting a shopping spree for Houston children Tuesday.
Every year since 2007, Johnson gives kids 80 seconds to grab as much stuff as they can at a local Toys R Us, then he pays the bill at the end. This year, 12 children from Harris County’s Child Protective Services took part in the shopping spree and hit Johnson with a total bill of $18,030.25.
