pjrez, that is the game. I have seen someone walk in the door with 5k and then leave 20 minutes later DEAD BROKE in a hundred every turn of the card game. Or you may win a couple grand in a deal if your card GOES ALL THE WAY THROUGH (THAT is if you have a queen, no other queens come out of the deck before all of your opponents cards. sometimes the other players have lost & then "picked back" in the deck 2 or 3 time & your QUEEN is still good) That game is the worst of the BEST (lol).

Each player gets one card face down and place a bet. The remaining cards are flipped over one by one until a card is turned over which matches one of the players. The player whose card is matched wins the pot.
Why does it matter that when the cards are dealt they are faced down? Can they be faced up?

Each player has to SHOW the card to someone else to ensure that noone is playing a "DOUBLE CARD" that no two people are both holding 8's etc.. Once the cards are clear. The "dealer" starts flipping each card out of the box 1 by 1. After each card is flipped, each person bets everybody at the table. So if five people are playing, then you would be betting (in a game of 20's), $20 dollars TO EACH PERSON after every time a card is turned out of the box. When a card comes that IS someone's card, THAT PERSON LOSES & the remaining players pick up that person's bet to them. The person who just lost can "pick" amongst the LIVE CARDS already flipped out. Betting continues. The person whose card NEVER comes out of the box & everyone else has fallen is the BIG WINNER. As you can imagine, betting 4 people $20 every turn of the cards can get expensive. So imagine a game where they are "skinning for hundreds only". After the first four cards, are flipped & no one has "fallen" that means that each player has $400 bet to each person for a total of $1600 at risk just only after the first FOUR CARDS (in a $100 skin game). So if you managed to "PLAY A CARD ALL THE WAY THROUGH" then you have caught each player a couple of times a probably have won about 3-5k in a ($100 game)..

acey ducey is you put two cards down (leave space to put a card in the middle)
now its the one persons turn. he has to bet whether the next card (the card you put in the middle) is inbetween the other two cards or not. you make a minimum bet of $1.
so you start with say $2 ante in the pot for each of you (its a two player game). the first two cards are a 6 and a Q. you have to bet anywhere from one dollar up to the POT in order to get a 7 8 9 T J. if you get it you win what you bet. if you dont, you put what you bet in the pot. if you get a 6 or a Q you 'banked' and have to put double what you bet in the pot. if teh first card to come down is an ace, the player gets to choose high or low. the second ace is always high. if you get a 6 and 7 as the outter card, then you would of course bet the minimum because you cant win. you just alternate deals until someone wins the pot and then you ante up again. it can get rediculous cause the pot can grow up to be like 200 and then somone gets like a 3 K and bets pot and lands another 3 and now owes 400 into the pot.
i was like 13 or something playing minimum bet 25cents and we used to have pots up to like 300 400 dollars which was pretty rediculous.
sorry if my write-up blows, its hard to explain games because there is no particular order of how it will go down.
its the greatest game ever though. perfect for two degenerates looking to kill time

William wallace, You are correct. Someone was actually trying to explain this game to me once, but never gave it a name. I have a question though. How do you win? (When the cards are all out of gone) or until the round of betting stops or is it continuous? Also what do us say do you say "INBETWEEN", HIGHER, OR LOWER. I'm asking what's the exact verbage.

just say the bet amount. betting on the center card being higher or lower than the other two isn't an option; your bet amount is based on the chance of the third card being between the first two, numerically. the deal is over when the pot's all been claimed.
also, we used to play this with multiple players in my old home game, usually towards the end when most of us were drunk.

Im a fan of Bingo Poker. 10 at a poker table, $25 stake each , every oplayer gets their 2 hole cards face up and then dealer lays out the 5 card board. $250 to the winner if its a house game. Was playing this at the end of the night at Fallsview Niagara many years back. Table got 5 hands in before Pit Boss shut it doen. Dealer didn't even rake the table but winners tossed her $25 each win.

Sounds intense! I’ve definitely heard of Georgia Skin but never played it myself. It’s wild how some of these older games fly under the radar while still having that big stakes thrill. It's like a hidden gem for the hardcore gamblers! How did you first get into it?
