If you guys don't have the time to read the whole thing, I have taken the best quotes and made it a much quicker read. You must click the link to see his picture though. It's honestly the icing on the cake.
What is the story behind your gamertag?
I was afraid you were going to ask this one lol. Lucas1987 is very original and I wish I could change it, I just don't feel like spending $10 to change it. I didn't think I would be on any leaderboards or anything like that so I didn't come up with a cool gamertag.
What is your proudest gaming moment?
My top moment on the 360, by far, is reaching #1 on the xbla leaderboard. This is a leaderboard on mygamercard.net that only shows the combined gamerscore in arcade games. I also reached #1 on the Party & Family genre but that one isn't very competitive like the arcade one.
What is your occupation and what do you do in your spare time other than gaming?
Jobless, and it sucks very badly. Been trying to find something to do but so far nothing. So all I have is spare time lol. I am currently trying to learn how to play guitar, bass, and drums all at the same time. Its a very slow process but it's really fun to play around with them. I have a 2000 Mustang Convertible, so I love to just drive around and show off my car . I'm also a die-hard St. Louis Cardinals fan so I try and watch as many games as I can.
What got you into competing in the family leaderboard?
The family leaderboard isn't very competitive but it does have Stallion at the top right now, so it makes me wanna work harder to be #1. The only reason I can't keep up there is because I can't buy retail games right now. I'm pretty descent at Guitar Hero and Rock Band, so that's what gave me a head start on that leaderboard. It also has all the kid games which I like to play for the points.
Tell us a little about your life past and present
Well, my life was the worst before the age of 15. Had it all happen to me...abused, death in the family, house burning down, trouble with the law. It was just horrible. Once I was 15 though, I got adopted by a family and it completely turned my life around. I started getting straight A's and cruised right through school. I chose not to go to college so I started working at the local gas station. It definitely was a good easy job, lots of money and great benefits. I bought a house and a car in 2005 and moved there, along with my girl at the time.
In July '07 I decided to move back in with my parents because I wasn't happy where I was. I moved in between Kentucky and Missouri a couple times, but now I live in Kentucky. Been chillin' here with my family hanging out with them as much as possible while still playing games all day long lol.
How old are you?
23 years young
What do you see yourself doing in the future?
Well, since I chose the 'no college' path, nothing really. I plan to be a 40 year old gamer though I wanna get married and have a family and all that, but not any time soon.
If you could have one dream holiday what would it be?
I would like to visit New Zealand. In high school I had to do a project about something, I don't remember, but it was where the Lord of the Rings was filmed. It is a very beautiful location and not the top choice for everyone, so it's just something different.
If you could have one dream job what would it be?
I think Microsoft should have testers for every arcade game before they release it, and I would like to be part of it. I wanna test the achievements to know if they're glitched, or the multiplayer to make sure everything is working properly. I hate when they release games before they're even ready and the people find the glitches.
What's the best food/drink combo when gaming?
5 hours energy is the best for gaming. I do drink tons of water everyday and eat lots of cereal and milk.
What question would you like to see added to the next interview?
Maybe best friend on live, favorite actor/actress, dream girl, favorite tv series.
