This guy I know stole sum money, now im trying to steal his identity

This guy I know "not really friends with just cool with" had given him a ride somewhere on my way to work hours later found my two $500 money orders missing out of my glove compartment knew he could had probably taken it when I stopped for gas i usually have it locked but I didnt know I would be having someone riding in my car really wasnt thinking as I rushing for work.  I could confront and beat him down as of course wont get my money back and he'll just deny it anyway but he did mess around and left his wallet in my car now have access to all his personal info (ssn#, dob, address, etc..)now my question is how to go about using this info and making sure I dont get caught

btw the guy has a nice car, and house and comes from a decent family which pisses me off even more I actually took him to enterprise to rent a car as his was just totalled... I also assume the guy has to have decent credit

slik im surprised your gettin on him so bad over this... i think he is being genuine... shitty situation and I feel what he is saying... sucks to ever have to call the police... if he attempts to beat the dudes ass he could A. get arrested himself. B. def not get money back. C. get beat up himself .... but yeah stealing his identity is not the right idea...
 im sure there are cameras in the store if u can trace where he cashed the money orders at. If not just be happy your not the poster BMA... now that would really fuckin suck

They are money orders. Contact where they where bought and then trace where they are cashed. May work?

They told me without the receipt stub attached to the money order theirs really nothing they could do, and my purchase receipt was pretty much useless

what if that guy didn't steal them? Call him out on it to test the waters. Give him a Larry David stare down and you can usually get a better idea if the guy did in fact gank your money orders. Maybe he did and will come clean and apologize. When that guy realized he left his wallet in your car probably 30 minutes after you parted ways and gave you a call did what did you tell him? That story seems fishy to me....

FILL OUT CREDIT CARD FORMS HAVE THEM SENT TO YOUR HOUSE WHEN CARDS COME IN THE MAIL ACTIVATE THEM......GO ON SHOPPING SPREE....HIS EXPENSE...IF YOU HAVE ALL THAT INFO SHOULD BE NO PROBLEM.....

Stealing someones identity is much worse than stealing 1,000 bucks. Call out this mother fucker and keep the pressure on him...tell him you know he did it. He will fold eventually, especially if you threaten him legally. Needless to say, sounds like a fucked up situation.

You should have just charged a 1000 dollars worth of shit on him and been done with it. Seems like your just some nigerian trying to sharpen his tactics on identity theft

Buy 2K worth of coke and put it in his trunk and then when you know he's driving report him for suspected dui. Cops find the coke, bingo.

Seems a bit extreme for a guy who 'may or may not' have done it.
