Last week, Russia’s government decided to put an end to the doomsday talk. Its minister of emergency situations said Friday that he had access to “methods of monitoring what is occurring on the planet Earth,” and that he could say with confidence that the world was not going to end in December.
Wow. Is this guy that dumb? He thinks the public is that stupid? He thinks he all of the sudden put the people's minds at ease with that statement? OMG. Just wow.
I can see a couple sitting in the morning with their coffee and their newspaper. "Oh look honey... good news here. Our minister has devices that monitor the entire earth and he is very confident that the world is not gonna end on the 21st. That's great! Well we can all relax now. Our minister has monitoring devices. We're good."
