Fellow gamblers these last few months for me have been absolutely the worst I ever have had in handicapping.I used to be a good solid handicapper, but now I am stuggling to hit 10 to 20% of games. One cause of this is I believe is that I made a withdrawal, also trump winning election is also a factor. The books are just too good right now it's impossible for me to beat them,no matter what bet hockey, tennis, football, soccer whatever it is I lose. This has never been the case like I stated I was a good handicapper I have made money.Whatever edge I had is now long gone, with this all being said I have two accounts left and once these are gone I am done.I have being using good money management I wager 1 to 3% of my bankroll.I have heard you will never tap out if you do this.I will prove this wrong I am sure,I don't ever see me putting together a run of games all I see are losses after losses.Dont know where my edge went it's long gone just like my money! But if I will never have another run and I lose my money betting 1% every day then it's a sure clear as day sign this is not for me.I am going to make a vow to myself that once this money is gone I am gone from this.To be honest I don't think I will miss it the roller coaster of losing, winning, losing the feeling like crap after you lose.Whatever the thrill I got from this, it does not make up the feeling of losing.

Maybe if you put a space after a period, comma or any punctuation mark, your luck would change... What the hell does Trump winning the election have to do you not being able to pick your nose?
Gamblers lose, all the books are good, we're the problem... We all should gamble for "Entertainment" purposes only, the rules are set up for us to lose, only the guy answering the phone makes money. Good luck getting back on track...

Have you ever thought about betting less? Instead of betting several sports, perhaps just a few? This could turn you into a "seasonal" gambler, which some hate (like to have "something" going throughout the year), but I think if you refined what/how often you bet, you could better.
Identify your strength. I'm sure you keep records. Are there two sports you bet that you are way ahead of the others?
And for f*ck sakes, get an avatar............

Do yourself a favor and withdraw whatever money you have left in your 2 accounts.
Use that money to buy something nice for a loved one, or some sick kids in your local Children's hospital.
Then don't every make another bet ... ever!
Don't replace your sports gambling 'fix' with lottery tickets, or poker, or anything else.
Just don't gamble!!!
Good luck quitting this no win habit

I don't care if you are betting Sports or sitting down at a Blackjack table. You must be willing to preset a stopping point at which you win and a stopping point at which you lose.

Rule number One: Always protect your Bankroll.
Rule number Two: Refer to rule number One.

I too am quitting. It's my new years resolution along with cutting down on drinking. I haven't had a drink or placed a bet all year so far. This season in football I won practically every week. That wasn't the problem. The problem was I had 2 real bad weeks and they were real bad. Part of the problem too is drinking and gambling. I lost control and I realize that my discipline really sucks and it always has sucked. I know that I cannot fix that problem and if you don't fix that problem you WILL NOT WIN. Gambling has taken over my life and it's all that I ever used to think about and center my life around. That needs to change. Who knows, I might be back some day. This isn't the first time I've quit but I really do think this is the time I will do it for good. We shall see. Best of luck to everyone.

baseball is the only time to have a reasonable shot at making a little money.
agreed. thought I've became pretty damn good at soccer and tennis betting since I really started following both sports closely like 5 years ago. You can do really well parlaying a couple big faves in those
baseball if you stay on top of hot pitchers etc and are a fantasy baseball junkie is the best though
