Obviously everyone has heard about this... Just looking for some peoples thoughts and opinions on it all. Why is North Korea all of a sudden testing all of their missiles, testing nuclear bombs, reopening their nuclear plant, declaring they are no longer bound by the truce, and any opposition is "an act of war"
Are they just looking for "power" and "respect" from the rest of the world... or is something actually brewing here. It is kind of difficult to tell them not to generate their own weapons when multiple other countries have nuclear weapons... on the other hand how stable is North Korea?
Looking for any insight people have on this situation... Don't see how there is much anyone in the world can do to stop their production of nuclear weapons unless war is involved

North Korea agreed in 2008 to scrap its nuclear weapons program -- which it said had produced enough plutonium for about seven atomic bombs -- in exchange for economic aid. But the deal foundered over verification and disclosure issues, and the North expelled international inspectors and announced plans to restart its main nuclear reactor.
The U.S. has been giving economic aid to countries that agree not to do the stupid shit they are threatening to do for decades. It is not the only reason here, but one to be considered.

I agree with that but we can't give other countries economic aid for eternity in exchange for them not to create nuclear weapons or chemical weapons... the second the payments stop coming in they will just threaten again... or in North Korea's case actually start testing and developing
