This PPV features a series of very low lines (for wrestling that is) that shows that this will A) be a great PPV and the WWE has been doing great job with its storylines and B) we can make some serious money off this.
The matches I care about:
Taker -190 vs. Brock +140 @ 5Dimes
Someone tell me how Taker does not go over here. The guy waited a year and half for a rematch and it's here. I don't care if it's against the Beast. If Brock wins, he immediately goes back into the title picture and there really is no reason to keep the belt off him. Have him lose to Taker and set up a rubber match, which the fans would love to see again, and keep him away from the belt he'll eventually get back.
The ONLY way I see Taker going down here is if Sting interferes and that sets up a Sting/Taker WrestleMania match. But really, August is too far out to set up such a feud so I see that happening in the rubber match and Brock going down here to the legend.
At -190, I LOVE the price. This is like a Floyd over Manny price. Lots of money to be made here. Taker is already up to -230 in the time it took to type this :(. Still will take him at that price.
Second match of interest:
Rollins -150 vs. Cena +110
SummerSlam is NOT Cena's domain. He hasn't won a match at SummerSlam since 2010! Plus, do you really want to put the world title (and have him keep the US title) on a guy with a busted up face? Is THIS the time for the soon to be much celebrated 16th championship? I don't think so. Cena already went over Rollins clean in the broken nose match. Now it's Rollins' turn to go over.
The one thing that scares me is that I simply can't see Rollins with 2 belts. So I see a DQ somewhere along the way. The US title on Cena has been working to perfection. Why put two belts on Rollins and then have him drop the US title somewhere down the road to make him look weak (weak is how he looked against Neville on Raw 2 weeks ago)? I don't like this match but gun to my head, I'm taking Rollins by pin or DQ. The fact it could be a total DQ scares the crap out of my so if anyone here can defend a Cena/Rollins side more convincingly, let me know.
Will KO go over? I love Cesaro but it looks like KO badly needs a win here to look stronger. Cesaro is already way over.
KO is -230.
Rusev? Any convincing arguments for a side on him or Ziggler? Ziggler is -175 and Rusev is +135.
Thoughts.

Wow. After watching a DVR'd Raw, they are REALLY putting UT over heavy before the match, which traditionally signals he'll get his comeuppance in the PPV match. He's now squashed Brock two times: Once on Raw and once at the last PPV and basically had a draw with their confrontation on Raw. Does the WWE also give him the win at SummerSlam? I still like Taker but less so after watching the Raw overrun.

The taker Lesnar match will not have a clean finish..we could get interference from Austin (which undertaker could win) this wont happen yet.. Sting (maybe) .....most likely a masked kane gets involved.

Taker was at -480 at one point. And while I loved Floyd as well...you can't compare the lines as this is WWE and a sketchy finish is likely. I agree with Nikki as I think Kane comes back after Lesnar "broke" his leg. Not to mention Heyman did take a shot at Kane earlier that night where he called him Undertaker's baby brother and then said "I'm sorry, I forgot the family was off limits." The only concern here is does it lead to an Undertaker win, or will it be another night where the show goes off air without a winner being announced like Rollins v Lesnar, which in that case, the bet would be cancelled.
I agree that the Rollins/Cena match could end in a DQ, so it doesn't matter who "wins" but if that is the case, then there's serious value in Cena (+250 now) because Cena isn't going to be the one to be DQ'd. And both are keeping their belts after this. This is supposed to be an extended rivalry so we shouldn't expect anything here. Maybe a double countout is possible too. The only thing for sure is that Cena won't win both belts because they just called for those new "15x" shirts of his to go into mass production, which isn't something you'd do if you were just going to have him win.
Now if this was the Attitude Era and this was a Stone Cold thing...I could see Rollins winning, getting his statue put up at the WWE HQ and then have Austin demolish it. But this is Cena...not Austin and this is not the Attitude Era (I could also see it with Orton but it's not Orton, either).
I agree on KO because it makes no sense to have him lose clean. But, of course, there's always a chance for a DQ. With that said...his PPV matches have been good. This will be the telling point. All KO has is that he's beat Cena and he keeps talking about that. Either he loses here and we know WWE has moved on from him (because there were skeptics in the back who said he wasn't worth a push because of his "look") or he wins and keeps some momentum. He's -750 so I imagine that he'll win.
Not sure where you saw Ziggler as the favorite. I saw the other day that Rusev was the favorite and he's -190 now. Maybe I missed it and it went back, but either way, Rusev is a waste of a storyline, imo. He's pointless. He'll probably win and Lana will be put over after the match.
Wyatt/Harper v Reigns/Ambrose are both -120. The original plan was to have Sting involved but they nixed that idea, however, he is expected to be a part of it whether they add a new member to the Wyatt Family or Rowan comes back and Sting is thrown into that. He was apparently in great shape before they nixed it so I heard a rumor that they may put it back up for Night of Champions. If they continue the feud...it's hard to say who will win here (or if there even will be a clean winner, but there should be). If Reigns/Ambrose win, I think Wyatt would continue to stalk them and try to get "revenge." I think there's some "value" in Reigns/Ambrose.

2 things to take into account is that I feel it's unlikely that there will be 2 instances where the match ends due to outside interference in the 2 biggest matches (Lesnar/Taker and Rollins/Cena). So a double countout could make sense for Cena with an awesome ending to the Lesnar/Taker match being ended with it getting dark and Kane costing Lesnar or just going off air with Kane/Taker standing over him.

You really think the last two matches could be DQ and then a no decision?
I think that's a huge ripoff for the second biggest PPV of the year...
KO just lost to Baylor on the NXT PPV so there is no way Cesaro is going over.
Well there is ONE way. KO took an unbelievably nasty bump to his head falling from the ladder (I can't believe the WWE scripted that fall and it appears they did) so if he is injured or concussed the match either won't take place or the WWE will bury him. It's -1200 now so I won't waste my time putting a single cent on it.

I agree that it would be a ripoff, which is why I'm skeptical but if you have a great match between Cena and Rollins that ends with a brawl throughout the arena to set up a future match I can't say if be disappointed. And if Kane interferes in the main event then I think it would be more of an "omg moment" and people wouldn't care too much about a clean finish. But you're right...it's not likely that both end with unclean finishes.
And, if you want to get super crazy with storylines and do something that's never been done then have Sheamus cash in and win both titles. The only question would be could he win both titles with that contract or would he only be eligible for the world title? We saw Rollins put himself into a Triple Threat match so this would be an entirely new way to utilize the briefcase. The crowd may riot, though, and it's usually something that would put the show to an end. It's all unlikely but an interesting idea.

And lets not forget what has happened in the past. We can't be fooled by big lines early on because we've seen complete 180's in the lines. Only when they become -2000 and higher 30 minutes before it starts can we take them really seriously.

I'll play dark horse, or class clown, and take the team of Stardust/King Barrett.
Historically, I know that a (team) celebrity has won, but who's to say they can't pin Neville? I personally like that guy more than KO, but they aren't the ones fighting.
I'll go a few bucks, maybe one parlay using that dog play...I know what the odds "say", but ever since hitting Brock over Taker, I've always been open to ignoring the 'public'. GL Fellas

And Shaemus...man, he just doesn't do it for me. The reincarnation with the Mohawk is nice but when he wins the title itll be as exciting as Alberto Del Rio winning the belt.
And man, what if he doesn't win the title? The first MITB that doesn't win the title essentially has Vince saying to them, "It was a mistake to give you the win at MITB".

Ya know, SO many people have the celeb winning here, this could the big swerve of the night. I like your idea!

Brock barely clicks up to +500 ...talk about tension. Sorry fellas, I'm over the Older-taker. Lesnar haters whine about how long he stays out of the picture, and yet UT does it for much longer. LOL
Enough of the MMA gloves to protect his hands, having guys leap themselves up to aid in a tombstone, etc. And enough technicalities of Brock "never losing clean" in any match. Though it looks like another interference tonight, I hope he still beats someone's azz pretty nice.

Yea, I can't take a liking to Sheamus. He's a good heel because nobody likes him and actually gets the boos he's supposed to. But it's not because of what he does...it's because of who he is. I just don't like him.
But also don't forget that he'd be the second to cash in the MITB contract and lose. Sandow was the first. I still don't understand why they're putting him on the back burner. He was HUGE as Mizdow and then the night after he lost his "identity" he came out and had an awesome promo and then had a small feud with Axel, then ended up teaming with him, and now he's gone again. It's a shame.

And every ruling is based off what the ring announcer declares. Because the announcer didn't declare Lesnar the winner, he didn't "win."
Heyman is the greatest voice in wrestling...his declaration of Lesnar winning at the end should have been enough for the "end of broadcast" ruling to give him the win

ok that's a dumb argument. UT is 50 years old and Brock is 38. Not sure if you knew this, but taller people have more health issues because they are taller. I don't have any problem with Brock doing what he does (limited schedule) but why put the WWE title on a guy that won't be defending it. There were a few ppv's this year where the title wasn't even on the line.

Oh my, 5 Dimes probably had a field day with this one.
They literally could say Brock won twice if they really wanted to screw over the Taker chalk bettors, of which their were masses.
He 'won' the initial ruling with the first bell ringing and won the end of broadcast ruling with Heyman's announcement.
Remember, there is a thread right in this forum where they quoted the announcer who misspoke as the 'official' time.
I wouldn't put it past them! Whatever makes them the most money!
