Greatest gambling-based episode:&#xD;&#xA;A Game of Pool with Jack Klugman and Johnathan Winters&#xD;&#xA;But there is a CLOSE SECOND no one knows about:&#xD;&#xA;The episode is called:&#xD;&#xA;The Silence &#xD;&#xA;About a man who takes a bet that he can&#x27;t speak for a year (one of the all-time great Rod Sterling creations)&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Greatest non-gambling episode: &#xD;&#xA;Too many to name but the best of the best are:&#xD;&#xA;To Serve Man&#xD;&#xA;Eye of the Beholder&#xD;&#xA;The Monsters are Due on Maple Street&#xD;&#xA;Third from the Sun&#xD;&#xA;Living Doll&#xD;&#xA;The Shelter&#xD;&#xA;And on and on and on. You could literally put 50 episodes on the the non-gambling list.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Eye of the Beholder and the Monsters are due on Maple Street are on at 8pm EST if you want to see them. They are not to be missed if you&#x27;ve never seen them.

my all time favorites The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street (3-4-1960) on a peaceful suburban street, strange occurrences and mysterious people stoke the residents&#x27; paranoia into thinking thier neighbors are alien invaders. at the end two REAL aliens are standing on a bluff overlooking the town and surmise they will NOT have to invade because the humans will destroy themselvesThe Man in the Bottle (10-7-1960) a luckless couple stumbles upon fortune when a genie materializes from a bottle in their antique shop. The genie grants them four wishes but warns them, prophetically, to be careful what you wish for AND as you would expect, they screw it all up.A Most Unusual Camera (12-16-1960) the plot is the ownership of a polaroid type camera that takes pictures about 5 minutes ahead in time. they use it at the track to get race results and get rich BUT everyone gets greedy and it all ends badlyThe Invaders (1-27-1961) When a woman investigates a clamor on the roof of her rural house, she discovers a small UFO and little aliens emerging from it. or so it seems. was a "tour de force" one woman show for Agnes Moore as the home ownerKick the Can (2-9-1962) at a retirement home the elderly playing a game of kick the can are transformed back into childernTo Serve Man (3-2-1962) The Kanamits, a race of 9-foot tall aliens, land on earth. one of them addresses the United Nations via telepathy, vowing that his race&#x27;s motive in coming to Earth is solely "to serve man". the humans "azz"sume that means to aid humanity. OOPS!!!Nightmare at 20,000 Feet (9-11-1963) an early "tour de force" for William "Captain Kirk" Shatner as an airline passenger trying to stop a gremlin from damaging and the aircraft he is flying on. everyone thinks he is NUTS but guess what?

In The Mid 1980&#x27;s , WPIX out of New York used to have  The Honeymooners on @ 11:30 PM   .Followed by The Original Star Trek @ Midnight   .Then Twilight Zone @ 1:00 AM .    I would always light up for those 2 hours of Classic TV. Cough Cough.    I liked a lot of the 5th season episodes like  " A Kind Of Stopwatch " , " Black Leather Jackets &#x27;, " Ring - A - Ding Girl ", " You Drive ", "The Masks",and of course " Nightmare at 20,000 Feet" . But many people  think the last season  is inferior.  Have any of you guys seen the hour long episodes ?? ( Season 4). That one with Robert Duvall is really good .
