Let's be honest. Vegas isn't even a real city. It's a tourist destination. Now they are in the fkn finals. That's so dumb.

its prob dumb bc u took jets... give me  abreak. the JETS left and then they come back bc ATL couldnt make it. give me a break.

 

You bet to make money , learn to go my #'s and be smart.

 

Go bet VEGAS to win the CUP bc it will happen.. PEACE

to paraphrase the great Penguins P-b-P announcer, Oh Lord Stanley, Lord Stanley pass me the brandy. the Vegas Golden Knights are PLAYING for the Stanley Cup!!!

btw, I have lived in Las Vegas since 1990 and it is a GREAT town for retirees and singles. LOW cost of living and ALWAYS something to DO. a 24 hour town where you can get a dinner or drink ANY time of the day OR night

The Pacific northwest had nothing but rain and serial killers.  You can have it.  Vegas had 2 seasons basically and NO MOSQUITOS.

AND you do NOT have to shovel "heat". I will take the 110 degree summers over having snow rear end deep to a moose in Pittsburgh when the Mrs and I lived there. Nevada is the "LAST FREE STATE" in America where you can do damn near ANYTHING you WANT. marijuana sales are legal in Las Vegas. casinos and  bars are open 24 hours and even prostitution is legal outside of Clark County (Las Vegas). I will take MY town and state over ANYWHERE else

The knights have done very well for themselves. With that out of the way Theodore, get your facts straight. The Jets were ripped out of Winnipeg and placed in Arizona. After a second failed expansion attempt in Atlanta for the NHL, that failure was placed in Winnipeg. The first failure was placed in Calgary. Also the original storied Jets franchise which is in Arizona has never once matched the season attendance that Winnipeg had every season including their years in the old WHA.

And with all sincerity to all of you that you have to endure living under the constant barrage of your children routinely being slaughtered in your schools, my heart goes out to you. And that psychopath in Vegas slaughtering all those innocent people like cattle etc etc.....I truly pray for you guys. I hope somehow your standard of living improves sometime in the future and that it does not continue to nosedive into the living hell that it appears to be presently. Godspeed.

Only if you avoid the Strip! Nashville downtown has now turned into Redneck Vegas. Both are shitholes Summerlin and Henderson are decent
Then again I hate 120F weather. Give me seasons, middle class and little violence with a sense of community. Vegas aint got that like cities in the Pacific NorthWest. Seattle, Portland, Vancouver are just much better lifestyles

Shoveling snow for 3 months seems better than living in a baking oven without any flora.

Oh ya THINK ??? and as far as "without any flora" in Las Vegas, our yard is desert landscape with 5 spectacular  joshua trees and over half a dozen kinds of cactus that are just beautiful when they flower. I would NOT trade that for cutting grass (and running up a water bill growing it) I want to see grass, I go to a golf course

Met Sawchuk at a local Summer Fair when he played for the Wings ...he had so many stitch scars on his face ..it was hard to look at him..

Never been to Vegas, the Northwest or Winnipeg.  Every places has its pros and cons.  Personally, I have to live in the North East USA.  Anything is better than Florida.  Tampa is a nice city to visit but living there is punishment.  At least Vegas is dry heat.  If it's not humid enough in Florida around 90% or so, a 2 minute downpour followed by immediate sunshine will take care of that.

I think this Vegas story is a movie in the making.  I've been rooting for them since the Devils were ousted in the First Round.  Go Golden Knights!

I hope they play the Caps
