Vegas Help !

Question

Use to get my share of comps in Vegas a few years back when visiting regularly. Well, that stopped when I got re-married. Now that i&#x27;m single again it&#x27;s back on. Trouble is i&#x27;m looking at hotel rates 3rd wk in October and they&#x27;re so high. Have to find my own deal cause my play was so long ago. Any suggestions to find good hotel rates ??? Want to stay in casino on strip as i&#x27;m traveling with a buddy that has never been. Thanks in advance.

Here ya go...&#xD;&#xA;Best tip ever.&#xD;&#xA;www.hotwire.com&#xD;&#xA;Put in your dates.  Narrow it down to 5 star hotels.  You wont see the name of the hotels, just 5 star in which area.&#xD;&#xA;Then - choose las vegas strip north.  BE CAREFUL HERE.  If the amenities DO NOT LIST A CASINO - it is the Trump.  If the amenities DO LIST A CASINO - it is either Venetian, Palazzo, Wynn, or Encore.&#xD;&#xA;All of which are awesome and you really cant go wrong.  For your week I see the Trump at 77 a night and I see one of the other 4 at 171 a night.&#xD;&#xA;You can also do the same exact thing at www.priceline.com and click on 5 star las vegas strip north - and apply the same logic as above.  It is just another option to hotwire and they alternate as to who has the lowest rates.&#xD;&#xA;Keep in mind - once you buy it you own it - no cancellations.&#xD;&#xA;But this is the best tip for Vegas.  You are welcome.

&#xD;&#xA;If your play was halfway decent back when (Assuming you had a player&#x27;s acct.)you could/should get a deal..Call them up especially if a Caesars property,they are the most liberal with room comps or casino rates..Worth a shot and no harm done if they say no..

There is ALWAYS a room priced reasonably. Years back we were there over a weekend and the Saturday night rates were nose bleed high, tripled what we paid for on a Sunday. But there was 1, I think it was the Riviera or Bally&#x27;s or something had a reasonable rate. Check all resources, all travel sites, travelzoo, vegas.com, or call the hotel directly. Someone has an offer. Usually those touristy spots like the Excalibur or Luxor has a good deal.
