It's so refreshing to see that the mainstream media is doing indepth reporting and keeping us up to date on things.

Conan used it for comedy... but you know he was also sending a message to everyone. 
Personally I believe that the news... or what will become the news... is decided in advance. It's only a matter of when they want to make it happen. Aside from large scale natural disasters everything can be planned... like one big psy opps operation.
By the way... I almost joined a psy opps unit back in the 1990's. When you look into civilian related jobs for potential career advancement... they include Marketing and Human Resorces.
Just remember these three things...
Problem, Reaction, Solution.
They create the problem... observe the reaction of the people... then provide a solution that they gain from.
All you have to do to understand this... is to look into the business dealings of person Cheney and the Bush family.
Cheney bought into companies just prior to the BP problem in the Gulf area. They involved clean up of massive oil spills. A few weeks later... those dealings made him millions and millions of dollars.
That example is just the tip of the so called "iceberg".
Just follow the news for major selling or buying of certain companies... and make note of these big deals. You will most likely find that these very same companies will either make huge profits OR take huge losses shortly after the deals are made.
The same can be done in reverse order. Whenever there is a major story breaking... look up the companies involved and you will find some very big names that have either bought into or sold out of the companies involved in the breaking news stories.
This includes the passing of news laws or the destruction of previously existing laws. Look into the industries that gain from it and recent purchase activities. And if the laws are negative... look into the companies that are effected and the recent selling of those type of businesses and who sold before the new laws are passed.
I remember seeing an industry specific magazine about 15 years ago which had a major cover article regarding the upcoming boom for certain industries and companies. I still have it somewhere. I remember taking it and saving it because in the article they sounded extremely confident about some things which I found disturbing. Needless to say they were very accurate and the events of 9/11 contributed to much of the success in those specific industries. This magazine and ones like it are usually only found in corporate enviornments/offices and most people never get to hear of them let alone read one.
