What does "look for B.O.B." mean on those signs at grocery stores?

I see these little and big signs all over the place and Ive always wondered what it meant. Its obviously something for the employee and I did a google search but came up with nothing?

Any former grocery store employees or anyone know? Im sure its something very simple and Ill prolly feel dumb when you tell me lol, at least dumber than normal

I think it means "look for bottom of basket".It&#x27;s a reminder for cashiers to make sure customers don&#x27;t leave with free stuff that they "forgot" to put on the checkout stand.

It means Bottom of Basket.  Cashiers look there to make sure they don&#x27;t forget to ring up something or so customers don&#x27;t try to steal merchandise.

stores around here have cameras  that are leg level aimed at the bottom of the cart so people can&#x27;t walk out w/stuff w/out paying
