Newer technology has rendered my old detector useless. Things like nearby home and commercial security systems, other vehicles with blind area sensors, can send constant false alarms. Time for a much needed upgrade. Any thoughts on what is the best available Police Radar Detector on the market today?

I&#x27;d bet Goose needs one for small town 25/30/35 speed zones where the local town&#x27;s cops just sit all day and pad their town budget..In NJ I&#x27;d average a ticket every couple years..After living in FL for over 25 years now-Not a one..Did get pulled over for a warning from a Statie though but he was cool on X-mas Day and I told him I&#x27;m going to work,road is empty..He said something about working too on the holiday,just be carefull.you get a blowout it could be trouble..(I was doing 80 in a 50 or so)Goose nice thing about shopping nowadays you can read reviews,that is where I would go after here..Amazon? Recently put new tires on my 16 Maxima and it begs for speed. The manual read speedometer max is 160mph. Have not hit that. Yet. At 145mph I noticed the digital read speedometer maxed out at 133mph. There are very few highways here in CT where this can be attempted. The other day just happened to be perfect conditions. Clear weather, dry road, zero other traffic, etc.

That Valentine Detector might be exactly what I need.

Here in Ca they just pace you from prime hiding spots and even on the move. CHP are cats sneaking around. You don't ever see them tracking you until they're right on your rear bumper.

I had a "95 Maxima........loved it. At the time it was the fastest 4-door sedan out there. The speedo topped @ 130. Was headed to Missoula one time &amp; hit a straight stretch of I-90 just passed the Idaho border &amp; decided to floor it. I hit 125 &amp; was smiling til I saw the "deer x-ing" sign.......

Exactly Mugg.  So many things you can&#x27;t control.  Backed down from my 145 because I was approaching two vehicles in the right travel lane.  If the first one decides to pass the second car then I am fukked because he&#x27;s not looking for me at that speed.  Then my only option becomes swerve to the breakdown lane and I didn&#x27;t like those odds.
