Well folks, if this isn't the quintessential essence of white privilege at it's absolute finest, I don't know what is.
This white male (and make so mistake, he is most certainly white and I never met him in my life and hope I never do), will tell you, me, the black community, and the non-black community what the 'ground rules' are for pointing out white privilege and black grievance.
He will tell you how and when you can say what you want, when you want, in the freest nation in the world, through his set of arbitrary rules.
As a white male (and a bigot at that, and again, make no mistake, his posts say everything you need to hear on that topic and the only reason he thinks he is 'normal' with regard to race is because he surrounds himself by the very same people who think like him, further engendering a warped mindset in this regard) he makes the rules for anyone who he disagrees with, particularly for another white male who also has the privilege and influence to speak his mind on what irks him at this present moment: extrajudicial murder by police and systematic bigotry in policing.
This is a no-no for this poster. It upsets the status quo. The very status quo he enjoys as a white male because if you take away the very policing I am speaking about:
1) It puts some of that police focus on....drumroll...white males by default,
2) He believes he will be 'less safe' because he has more than expressed his belief that blacks are 'prone to criminality' as has Slovak and Swish and Gimmee and on and on and on. And this belief at its core is what truly makes up the purest of racists. It is by definition what racists have and always will believe.
But the above is too complicated for this poster and he'll brag he didn't even read it.
Even though he called me out (yes this is what this poster and his ilk does. They joyfully wallow in their anti-intellectualism).
So we'll just give him one Youtube link to sum it up for him.
Spoken by a member of the black community that will answer all his questions.
(Do I care that she is black? No. But he does. Because in his world, color rules, and if she were white, she would be like me and need those proverbial ground rules he just set...But thankfully that it not the case here).
