Alright...Christmas is coming up and I got shoe nuts that are going crazy over the AJ XX9 (December 6th) and the University Blue Retro 11's (The all blue ones...December TBA).
Who do I talk to around these parts to help a brotha out? Obviously I'm not standing in line and potentially getting shot over these but I'm really hoping someone can help me out around here to get a hold of these.

Contact Alibaba China and have them replicate these same shoes for a fraction of the price. It's the Un-American way.
Please bear in mind that New Balance is the only mainstream player in the shoe market which is both owned and made by Americans. Thank You for your support.

My kid actually made me get up at like 4 am for a sneaker launch (Jordan 12 Retro Gamma Blues) to buy them online. Actually was able to get a pair.... cost like $160...worth over $300 now....

I agree with you guys. I've had my Jordans and Nikes but it's just if I go to Champs and find a pair that I like. I'm not into going crazy to get a certain pair for myself.
But Train, kids these days do look at shoes and it's the same people who will wait in line to get them. Not my thing but Jordans have that insane following.
When those Retro 11's came out a earlier in the year when they're just white with black trim and the world went crazy over them, I was so confused. They seem to be the plainest sneakers I've ever seen and yet they were so expensive and people literally killed for those. It's ridiculous but, because they're so hard to get, they make good gifts.

I'll give them a shot closer to launch. I think every site has them but getting lucky is damn near impossible. My friend said he locked in his pair but the site crashed before he could get his info in so he never got them. That's when he gave up doing the launches.

On a side note I saw a doc. about a couple young Americans who moved to Tokyo, they buy limited Japanese edition Nikes and ship them home to their partners in the States.
No shame in turning a profit off of people who are willing to spend big money trying to dress like a fuking 12 yr old.
