Who pays the juice?

The winner pays it because he risked 110 and only got back 100 so their paying $10 of juice. The winner always pays. Losers play for "free".

The other argument is that the loser pays the juice because the winner gets back everything he risked and more, so of course it's the loser who pays it. If you didn't lose money then how would you pay the juice?

The winner risks $110 to win $100.Of course the winner pays the juice. The better term is that the winner RISKS the juice.

Juice is the fee you pay the book to place the bet.  It is already paid before the outcome of the bet is decided.

This is a no win argument If Paul wins his bet he gets his 10 back or 110 so no juice on the winning bet but it is factored in to the offered play in the line so in reality both pay juice.
