A sub-human person is somebody like Michael Vick, somebody that abuses an animal that is otherwise defenseless. Or a doctor that lures an animal into a trap to kill it just for game purposes.
BUT
I am having the hardest time trying to wrap my head around all of these protesters that are growing by numbers at Heinz Field in an effort to I guess try to get Vick removed from the organization.
I've unfortunately lived in Pittsburgh for a life's entirety. I got to be here when another sub-human JAMES HARRISON beat the living hell out of his wife over if their newborn baby should be Baptized or not. And then I watched the Rooney's bizarrely defend Harrison's action as actions of PRIDE!!!!!! And nobody, NOBODY protested Harrison playing for the organization, or the Rooney's for condoning abuse on women. Disgusting yinzers waved their terrible towels and basked in the moment. Santonio Holmes hit with abuse charges, no protest. Alameeda Ta'amu almost killed two policers and countless bystanders in a drunken rage behind the wheel, no protest. But a guy, who had already served a two year jail term, and committed a crime almost a century ago is being historically protested in the steel city.
Not to mention the family of this idiot doctor that killed Cecil the lion being abused, tormented, threatened and embarrassed every day. Why??? They didn't do anything to this lion, but their lives are pretty much f**ked up at this point because of these psychos.
Where are people's priorities anymore? I'll say it again, that abusing a defenseless animal makes you a subhuman pig that should pay the price. But you know a woman at the fist of a 260 lb NFL linebacker is pretty defenseless too. A family that only crime is being related to a lion poacher is pretty defenseless too. I guess I just don't get the knee-jerk raging lunacy reactions from people when it comes to animals.

It's been like this for too long.... I guess people are really desensitized to human-on-human violence, whether it be against male, female, child, handicapped, old, g.ay, race, etc...
So when somebody abuses a dog it gets covered all over the local news, maybe because it's less frequent than abuse against people... I mean if the local news covered every domestic violence incident in a given area there wouldn't be enough time in the day in some areas.
The Cecil thing was ridiculous... even one of those digital bulletin boards in my area had a "RIP Cecil" on it a few months ago...

I think it's all about animals being innocents in the scheme of things. Or rather that idea I suppose. I think it's messed up animals get more attention than people but I don't see the logic in a lot of things nowadays.

I get the idea of animals being innocent, and that it is a more rare case than human-on-human violence.
But it is kind of disturbing that a high profile case as James Harrison's was went completely unnoticed by steeler nation with not a one man or woman protesting the guy, yet Vick is hearing it from the thousands now. It literally became the biggest sports story in this city for I'd say the last month.
Makes no sense if you think about it in a priority manner. If you are against Vick, you should easily be against an anal leakage like Harrison.

Society and often the legal system will punish a perp for actions over and animal more compared to beating a human. This will be mocked in law schools in the future.

Because the animals are innocent, and the women should know better. I mean, look ladies, if you're going to get involved with a huge physical freak of nature who plays linebacker for the Pittsburgh Steelers and his nickname is friggin' "Silverback", chances are you're going to take a punch or two at some point. Especially if you're drunk and start lipping off and throwing punches of your own like Janae Rice did.
