Zorb accident - Who invented this suicidal hobby?

Who the hell had the idea to push these guys down a hill with in a ball with a mountainside immediately to the left on the bottom of the path?

One guy died, the other guy will likely be paralyzed for life... if he survives.

Go* dam* suicidal. "It's their choice, they assumed the risk" may not necessarily be the case. 

Roll them down a hill, ON THE GROUND. Not on a go* da*n mountainside! Who knows if they knew what they were getting into. We'll never know. One's dead and the other might soon be. Where are the safety regulations?

I say the United States send troops into Russia if that is what it takes to put and end to this barbaric practice.

Laws need to be enacted in the United States making it illegal in Russia for this to happen. All those balls should be confiscated and destroyed.

The manufacturer of those balls should be required by the United States court system to pay the medical bills of any survivors for life and restitution to family members of anyone injured.

Or, just practice the 'sport' away from a mountainside...

No but seriously this is a massive tragedy if u think about it and from what i read things are alot worse. meaning they have over 50 different people selling unlicensed services on these russian mountanins. And supposedly this ball was stolen some 2 years ago so i guess only thing u can learn from this is Never trust a russian on a ski hill. Honestly these guys should both be charged with manslaughter.

It's not a 'Darwinian thinning' as people like to joke around about here (inappropriately). 

It's a matter of regulating an activity properly so people can partake in it and not DIE, something we take for granted in the US.

Not that I know of. 

And if we did, it would be on a bunny slope at a ski lodge...

Why would anyone want to do that anyway? You'd get sick as a dog and it wouldn't be fun in the least.

Scaleabrine try it and report back to us. In fact attach a camera to yourself so we can experience it for ourselves.

I can only hope and pray that the lawmakers in America put and end to this dangerous sport... OR at the very least make it illegal for anyone under the age of 21 to participate...

President Obama needs to ACT NOW... This very day sign an Executive Order. PERIOD.

That "wall" of snow on both sides of the path had to be at least a foot high.  I would've never seen that coming....
