In my opinion, today the horseracing wagering public should be playing the Tampa Bay Downs card. Four quality Stake races, leading towards the first Friday and Saturday in May. One I really like from the card, has a Harry Potter reference in a sprint, despite the trainers lack of success at the distance (18:0-1-4) and Main Track (19:0-1-4). She is capable of finishing first to fourth depending on the body of the race. ??

Fluffy, Harry Potter reference, finished second to last and did not look right from the Club House turn forward. From the looks of it, live, it appeared she sustained an injury or bleed. A call was placed for clarification.
From the eleven race card, the public's top choice won five times, was second twice and showed two times. Chalk players should have done very well (or greater). I, unfortunately, only cashed three tickets from Tampa Saturday and had a very unsuccessful day there - just one of those day, it happens and I move forward.
It would not surprise me to see some from Saturday's featured race, Sam Davis Stake, go in the Tampa Bay or Florida Derby. Historically the race preps for the Tampa Bay Derby (think progression - prep to SDS to TBD to Key Prep Race to KYD) but with how history is changing, and some of the chatter known, wouldn't be surprised to see some try the Florida Derby. As it stands right now, I can not endorse the SDS winner to win the KY Derby. Others from that race? Baring injury, yes but that's for another day and time.
Hope all did well Saturday and are successful with their Super Bowl selections.
