At Gulfstream a trainer I met about 2 years ago has two running tomorrow. The trainer is Georgina Baxter.
Race 1 #3 R Boy Evans
Race 7 #2 Pay Any Price loves GP winning there 14 times. He's a 10 year old who has been away since May. He'll be the chalk & she will have him ready to fire.
Fairgrounds
Race 8 #10 Alan's Argument ships in from Aqueduct where he was the beaten favorite. Love the jock change to Florent Geroux. Should get a fair price on this one & trust Geroux can keep him out of traffic problems.

#2 Pay Any Price won going gate to wire paying $5.60 and $32.40 exacta.
This 10 year old came back with a huge race after being away since May. He absolutely loves the Gulfstream turf & Georgina Baxter certainly had him ready to run.

#10 Alan's Argument was bet down to the 9/5 chalk. Geroux had him sitting nicely in 4th about 3 wide. Made a move in the stretch but didn't have the kick to keep going. Finished 6th I think.

This is always a great time of the year @ Gulfstream with all the shippers & 3 year old races.
I'm not really in any circles @ GP. I met Georgina Baxter in the walking ring & later in the winners circle. I had told her jock to have a safe trip when coming out & she overheard me & nodded her head in thanks. Later in the winner's circle I congratulated her & she told me about a horse she had running later that day @ Tampa Bay Downs & it won. Chalky but it won.
I make a point of visiting the walking ring @ GP anytime she has a horse entered hoping to make eye contact without being a jerk. She has a cool British accent.
She wins @26%, so she's certainly worth following.

Nice win. Sorry I missed it.Always wanted to know someone in the right circles.Maybe after I retire and have a little more time.8 more monthsKeep me posted on a sleeper pick or two in the Derby,if you have the chance.
vet...just saw a nice filly win a MSW @ Gulfstream named Spice Is Nice out of Curlin.
She won at first asking & showed exceptional speed when finding a hole on the rail & when Johnny V asked her to go through, she went willingly.
Spice Is Nice looks like something special. And she should, costing the owners 1 million.
