I saw an interview Saturday with trainer Bobby Hess regarding his filly Super Renee. He was asked what he thought of her chances coming from post #13. He said that when he has Tyler Gafflione riding, he doesn't worry about post positions because Tyler will put her where she belongs. 

Gafflione sat 2nd off the pace & took over with about 3F left winning by about 4 in a hand ride. Hess ended up losing the filly when she got claimed by Michael Stidham.

Tomorrow Hess has another Cali shipper in #8 High Heater with Gafflione up. ML is 4-1.
