I play mid to long prices so I don’t hit many races.
Race 1 - #1 Giant Ending should be a decent price with the #3 and #6 to take all the play. But the #3 may not get this distance and #6 looks to be really slow early. #1 can race up front and distance isn’t a problem. Best bet of the day for me! $100 to Win #1
Race 2- #7 looks to be odds on in this cheap maiden claimer at a mile. #2 Pom Freight has sped and faded against slightly tougher at sprints in his first three starts. Stretches out and not much pace on paper and at the one turn mile maybe holds on for a piece. Will be a huge price but worth a W bet as maybe a lone pace threat. $10 Win on #2 and $10 straight exacta #7 over #5
Race 3- #2 Morning Breez is a classy front runner who has been running well in state bred stakes sprinting. Should be in front early at this one turn mile and that’s always lethal in young 3 yr old races. $20 to Win #2
Race 4- #7 James Ciro folded on the front end at 70-1 odds against MSW company. Gets a drop to 40k claimers and cuts back to 6.5 furlongs. Probably won’t be bet much and this race looks wide open. #20 Win #7
Race 5- State bred claiming sprint loaded with pace and I like the #1 Special Dividend to sit mid pack early on the rail and hopefully get out late for the money. $20 to Win #1
Race 6- #4 Morning Hunt was a 2017 240k purchase from a 7,500 sire. Same sire and similar mare family from my pick in race 3 which is a 3yr old stakes race. So this first time 3 yr old makes all the sense and hopefully stays around m/l price. #20 Win on #4
Race 7- AOC 40k race for state breds and tons of fast race horses in this one. Could make a case for most in here and the pace looks to be blazing on paper. Contessa claimed back #6 Mighty Zealous last out and the horse can run late at this 6 furlong distance and likes the track. More of a career 2 place horse than a winner but cuts back from 7 furlongs in last and may be catching a enough pace to get a W today. #20 Win on #6
Race 8- Nice field for a 7 furlong 100k stake in this one. #4 Divine Miss Gray comes off a career best blow out win on Dec 10 so trainer gave her over a month to recover from that and hopefully she fires again. Looks the part of a graded stakes filly this year maybe so this is the first hurdle to achieve that goal. 4-1 m/l and hopefully stays around that number. $50 Win on #4
Race 9- #3 Toohottoevenspeak goes first off claim for Diodoro and should sit mid pack and hopefully fire late at this 6.5 14k claimer with lots of cheap pace on paper. Like a few others at decent prices also so playing $20 Win on #3 and a $5 exacta box 1-3-6 that will pay huge if it hits.
