There’s a great Saturday card @ GP with 4 stakes including the 500k Donn Handicap & the 300k GP Turf Handicap. The weather is supposed to change tonight & no rain is expected. Let’s hope it stays this way.
R7 is a nice Allowance race & if it does come off the grass an AE # 12 Troilus will be a live play. He’s won 2 in a row @ GP in fine style. Also of note is Rosie Napravik will be here to ride # 4 Pants on Fire for trainer Kelly Breen. She has 2 other mounts on the card including Ruler on Ice in the Donn. I like the fact that #10 Bergerac lost to Little Mike by less than 4 lengths & is going a 1/16th longer & Prado stays with this one instead of getting back on #1 Fastest Magician who he won on last time out; Johnny V takes over. GP track owner Frank Stronach has # 6 Mobilizer & he’ll will get plenty of action. Interesting…
R8, has a short field of 6 & if #3 Thunder Moccasin isn’t the real thing, I think #5 II Villano might get the check.
R9 is the 150k SuwanneeRiver & #1 Cumulonimble looked great winning her last & she’s in some tough company but I like her chances @ 6-1. I also like #4 Heavenly Landing who has Corey Lanarie back in town; he won by a nose @ 18-1 last time out winning a nice GR3. Don’t think the extra distance will hurt at all.
R10, is the Donn Handicap. I’ve seen #8 Trickmaster win for fun in his last but I’m not sure he beat much. He’s undefeated going 5 for 5 & has won at this distance by 11 @ the SPA. He’s in tough company but why not him @ 6-1? #1 Where’s Sterling lost to Boys At Toscanova by a length & has won both of his races @ this 1 1/8 distance. I also have to play #4 Redeemed & #10 Hymn Book. It’s going to be a good race & looks like a 148 & 10 box IMO…
R11, is the GP Turf Handicap & I like a 1357 box as well as a win play on # 7 Get Stormy.
BOL to all…

They were in a downpour on Friday and sloppy. don't expect much of an upgrade today as a cold front is coming thru. Look for the dirt winners to be coming off the pace and rallying mid part of track and out. No inside speed under these conditions.

The rain has passed through already, should be done with it for the rest of the day. It's going to be a little windy so the track might dry out a little as the day goes on

Some races are already off the turf so they can keep it safe for the stakes later in the card. It's going to be a cloudy day but like sp said, the wind is supposed to pick up.
I was surprised to see Catalano scratch #1 Cumulonimble in R9 since she's raced on good & yeilding tracks in the past. Right now the grass is listed as good & the dirt as sloppy.
Another big scratch is in R8 bringing the fleld to 5. 2nd choice #6 Ever So Lucky was scratched by Trainer Sheppard.
The sun just popped out & I'm headed out the door. BOL to all & let's make some bucks...

Gulfstream is a players paradise if you can hit. That meet is the best in the country. Great jockeys, trainers, and horses. I do not play that track. If I had some inside info I probably would. The payoffs are fantastic. GP has to be the toughest meet of the year. If the track stays wet you better take Ruler On Ice. He loves an off track. GOOD LUCK!!!!!

hey Mids that crafty ole veteran Get Stormy with another G1 win. I watched that replay when I got home last night when I saw 1:16 for three quarters I knew no chance in hell they would get him alone on the lead.
