The whole world is on him to win. The $2 betters who have never
gone to the track before. Always bet the favorite. More cash for the track.
I've been going to Emerald Downs and Longacres for the last 30
years here in WA.
I've studied the PP. This is what I'm looking for. CC was ahead 5
lengths mid stretch and ended up winning by only 1 3/4 lengths. This is not a good sign!
Let's say he increased his winning margin from five lengths to 6 lengths or more at finish line. This means the horse is drawing away for fun. Instead he eased up from five lengths to only 1 3/4.
So my upset pick is #10 Ride on Curlin got shuffled early in the derby than found his best stride to late! Outside post will look for him closing
like a rocket.
My bet $200 win #10 $200 place #10 $2,000 show #10
I'm hoping CC doesnt hit the board. And it will be a huge show payoff on Ride on Curlin when he comes in. I'm so excited about this race!
Good Luck!

CC was geared down and Victor was standing in the saddle at the wire. Never asked for anything. Oh, please box CC/Curlin in the exacta. You will thank me on Sunday.

I'm not sure you understand how parimutuel pools work.

Why are some people fixated on the final winning margin? Did you not see
what he did from the turn to the furlong pole? He won the race in that
second last furlong. HE WAS EASED DOWN HALF A FURLONG OUT. The jockey and most smart people saw that he had done all that was needed. I don't care if he had only won by a head.
His dwindling margin might be cause for concern over 12 furlongs at Belmont but not with him coming BACK in distance. I dont understand why some people think the horse was not impressive because he did not win by 7 lengths after being 5 lengths clear a furlong out. His win was dominant and not one horse had a chance to win that race regardless of the margin
