Who does everyone like/dislike?

Nyquist , Mor Spirit , Brody's Cause , Destin , Exaggerator  are horse's that intrigue me. Gotta see PP still though.


I am against Lani , Gun runner , Mohaymen , Outwork.

Lani- IMO will end up near the back of pack. Level of competition he has faced is poor.

Gun Runner - Has had 2 perfect trip's. Will not get that in KD and is not fast enough IMO

Mohaymen - IMO got exposed in the FD. Horses he beat in previous have come back to be not the best. Will be over bet also IMO.

Outwork - I'm not impressed with Outwork. Very over rated colt IMO. Speed figures are not good enough and won't like the distance.

I agree with most of what you say
But with Gun Runner...good horses with good tactical speed and several gears,as you may have seen,create there own special trips. Distance will not be a problem. Trainer is top notch and so are Bris figures . Bonus: DD odds for this points leader.

I will leave lani,Outwork out as well.
Mohayman is my mystery horse.

You know Vet ...I keep going back to Whitmore's run when he broke his maiden at CD .... Horse for the Course deal ??? Never know bro ....

Whitmore and Mohaymen are on my watch list ...

I have yet to cap Whitmore. I know he ran a good race beating out Dazzling Gem and spoiling my tri in the Arkansas Derby.
Have not seen any video on him either. I will check it out Up's

Depending on PP's I am inclined to toss Nyquist. Son of Tapit I don't believe he will like the added distance. Had Whitmore on the radar but hasn't Sudden Breaking News run him down twice at a shorter distance? I thought Exaggerator's SA victory was impressive. Some pretty good recent winners at SA have fared well in the derby. I agree with most it is fairly wide open. think once I see PP I will pick a wheel horse and throw him in with 6-7 others all three ways hoping for the long shot. Hasn't worked well the last two years for me but can't forget that Animal Kingdom pay out

You are correct . Thanks I guess it's Creator that I need to reconsider. I just read that since the change in points for qualifying there have been 3 straight favorite winners. I sure hope this year is different

The pace should be solid in this race, the was kinda not case the last 2 years. Even 2013 on paper there wasn't much pace but Pletcher added blinkers on Palace Malice and he tore off thru crazy early fractions.

Danzing Candy has never sniffed a 47 half mile so they should be in the 46 range for the half. My projected pace horse

Mor Spirit (Baffert has changed his blinkers and been training him faster, even said they wanted to be much closer to the lead in the SA Derby until DC tore off out of the gate)

I would like to see that happen. Would leave the potential for a bomb closer to get in there. I think even last year with AP winning Commanding Curve made the tri over $1,000

Love exaggerator'spedigree. Curlin is one of my favorite horses ever. I think nyquist will go off as the favorite (assuming a moderate to decent draw) so I will look to play against.

Tough year for exotics as well. Could see at least 10-15 of these horses hitting the board.

Still debating best way to bet this race.
