Fountain of Youth Saturday

I just took a quick glance at the card & a filly in the 9th jumped out at me. She was 98-1 in her first start. She broke last of 12 from the 3 hole & finished a closing 4th making up about 10 lenghts. She stretches out to 1 1/16th from 5F & stays on the turf for trainer Mark Casse & owner Gary Barber. I'm a fan of this combo.

AND we get a big jock upgrade from Miguel Vasquez to leading jock Irad Ortiz. Cetrtainly I'm not the only one who sees this & we won't get 98-1 again.

# 4 Our Law may be a real nice filly. 

Post time is an early 11:30 & the first 3 races are real cheap claimers. The 4th race gets the stakes action started. 

Rosario comes in from Cali & picks up a couple of nice mounts.

Chris DeCarlo will also be in town to ride Tricky Escape for John Servis in the 7th.

My guy Global Campaign goes in the FOY which is race 13

Should be a fun day.

I just capped the card and its a tough one.  My key single in all multi race wagers will be in the MSW race #10

#6 Felix the Fox finally gets south and has some solid efforts against some good ones and should be a middle price as this field has some flashy maidens. Regally bred and is getting good at the right time. 

This will be Felix's 5th try to break his maiden & it's good to see Rosario back up for Shug. Love the daddy Tapit.

#7 High Amplitude ran into a real buzz saw (Hidden Scroll) getting beat by 14 but running a good 2nd for Chad Brown.

Billy Mott & Pletcher also have a colt in this race.  

Forgot to mention 2 things about Hidden Scroll. He won by 14 in the slop AND

He's entered in the Fountain of Youth for Mott.

Im tossing Hidden Scroll if its a fast track-- i just cant trust that monster performance in the slop.  He may beat me but don't find him playable as a fav

We should have beautiful weather this weekend.

Frank Stronach paid to make sure we don't have Pegasus weather.

Race 4 DD 67/57

It's a big card & I'm saving my ammo for later.

Stanley Hough won the 5th with my gal Georgina Baxter running 2nd for $17.60 exacta

Race 6 ex/tri box 1-2-4-7.

Will be involved the rest of the day. I'm bringing my laptop outside. Not to break balls but it's 83 here today.  

BTW...got WP on Chris DeCarlo on #7. He gets a firm track today.

And it's Race 7 not the 6th. Got 1-2-4-7

Not even a whiff in the last 

Race 8 has Chad Brown with the 6-7-8. So I have to box him in the ex/tri.

No other play. Just gonna sit back & relax.
