Think he will be here in about an hour, he wraps up business early Friday afternoon and has been here most Fridays for years now, and he always accuses me of being "on the sauce" on Fridays after I tell him to play Friday songs like:

I don't know if you are a pop music fan, jr, but we used to party here for hours on Friday into Friday night, I think mr h will chime in on this thread shortly......

If you like music, play these songs from youtube and have a marguerita, oh wait, there's another one "Marguerita" by Jimmy Buffet, and I will pop in and try to pick a couple races.....

Love working for the weekend though and kinda like the Vogues one too!

My favorite is " Because " by the Dave Clark Five!

Of course it's called Margeuritaville, I guess having had one already today makes me unable to think straight.

"Thank God its Friday" was a disco song from the very forgettable movie of the same name whose soundtrack also contained the Donner Summer song "Let's Dance" and they repeat the title a lot, also I don't have the baritone voice in it, lol

Lol, hard to do that one in Frankie Valli voice, but I can sing songs like "Big Girls Don't Cry" "Sherrie" "Rag Doll" "Candy Girl" "Walk Like a Man" with my Frankie Valli voice, but you might not want to hear my renditions.

You're right, I don't need to hear that.   Whoa Zuck, seems you're a lot more into music than I am.  But all them songs bring back the drive-in movies on the weekends.  I'm a drive-in movie  legend!

Jr, you must be a little older than me, I will be 54 in January, so some of those songs were from before I was born.  The last drive in movie place I remember in my area closed in 1981 right near the NJ turnpike near Newark airport.  Yes I am very into music, I have said many times, my two escapes in life are sports and music. Can't imagine life without either.  Gambling is way down on the list, I only bet for fun and small amounts at that.  I have chatted with mr H at times and got him to listen to some of my favorites from a long time ago.

Yes Zuck,  I'm quite a bit older than 54! 

Horses and football are my passion now kinda,  I never watch the races and rarely a football game. 

I do spend a lot of time in the markets tracking my portfolio!

I don't sleep well so I'm up all night handicapping the next days races!

Oh yeah, I'm 65 (look 85) and been retired 5 yrs.

Lol again, I am looking at a couple of companies now, twilo, near 52 week low, high tech app company (I think you don't follow these type) but I am also seriously following a company for a bunch of years called sangamo.  They recently got a deal with pfizer, they are really into the stem cell research and other ways of curing various diseases, i made some $ riding it up from around 3 earlier this year to near 15.  Been tracking it, waiting for a dip, had the chance last week below 12, missed it and waiting again.
