Clement has taken his time with this Smart Strike filly. In her last, he stretched her out to 1 3/8 which she won convincingly drawing away. He brings her back at the same distance on the turf relatively soon compared to her normal month to 45 day rest/training period.
She looks well placed & although Clement changes to Geroux from Jose Ortiz, he's no slouch for sure.
ML is 7/2. Not sure we'll get this. I expect her to be closing along with #10 Susie's Baby who also has won at this distance. Should be a good race. The Lanarie //Kenneally combo is always tough.
