Sad story &amp; seems to have really hit the family really hard.&#xD;&#xA;On the same day, it was reported that 10 horses in Louisiana tested positive for dermorphin which is a pain killer 10 time more powerful than morphine.&#xD;&#xA;For every trainer who plays by the rules &amp; cares about their animals, we have 10 scumbags doing stuff like this....

Very sad to see Giant Ryan go down in that race. I thought he had a good chance of survival, but unfortunately theres nothing you can do about laminitis. Will definitely remember him!

Yawanna Twist ran one of the fastest speed figures of any horse in the country @ the General George. Was a great race to watch and will not forget about Yawanna Twist either. Routine surgery, so it seemed......crazy how things happen.

Two great horses and two sad stories, makes it tough to watch the sport.
