Capping a few more tracks now for tomorrow also --- I am playing all these to $10 Win and $4 ex boxes and rolling track min bet pick 3's and 4's -- I don't bet favorites and many times not the most logical contenders either - I play a decent priced runner who I feel can out race their odds and win at a price. Some of these may end up going off at smaller odds and sometimes the fav but I get my bets out there and move on
Race 1-#2Capital City12-1 MLhas been placed in tough
spots the last half of last year after having a great a good first half—7 yr
old gelding should have some gas left in the tank and should be in perfect
stalking distance from the start with first run against the speed#2 Win and ex box 1-2-9
Race 2- TURF#6Powerful
Instinct 5-1 ML shipped down from NY and raced a decent 4th against
better at this track in last—another old timer 8 yr old gelding hasn’t seen
this light of competition in a long time-- #6 Win and ex box 3-4-6If on DIRT#7 could wire field in a very slow raceDirt #7 Win
Race 3- #7Lady
Keswick 6-1 ML has shown some talent getting minor awards in her first two
races- lots of expensive firsters in here will be bet but a few look like turf
fillies and the Pletcher firster is the ML fav but is bred to go long so hoping
she needs one and doesn’t fire. #5 could be major player off long layoff after
showing fast pace her only race as 2yr old in NY#7 Win and ex box 5-7
Race 4- TURF#6Looking at the Lake8-1 ML---
wide open 50k maiden claiming for 3 yr old filles--I always look for the horse with one start on
dirt that is clearly meant to be a turf horse and this one fits—raced in NY in
an off the turf race and was bet at 7-1--Johnny V takes the mount for Weaver-- #6 Win and ex box 4-6-11-14(AE) If on DIRT #3 looks to have a touch of speed
and experienceDirt #3 Win
Race 5- #7 Sals Jet 8-1 ML is the horse and odds I like most
today at GP—maiden claiming price gets cut in half after showing pace against
better maidens in last few which has made me lots of Wins in the past-- #7 Win
and ex box 2-7-11

Race 6- TURF GRADE IIIMarshua's River S.the 3-5-7 will take all the play and each
look ok but the odds will be short—looking at #4 Elusive Million was brought
over to states from France last summer and for some reason placed in the Grade
1 Arlington Million (maybe because of her name?). She set a crazy pace and
faded to last—then in next race a month ago here at GP she stalked and dualed
for a game 2nd albeit against much softer but at least she put up a
nice figure and Julien Leparoux sticks with the horse— think get better odds
then ML so worth a bet for me-- #4 Win and ex box 3-4-7 – If raced moved to
DIRT then #1 could be a sneaky bet with some ok dirt races in her 7 yr career-
Dirt #1 Win
Race 7- #7 Khamsa Tfu 9/2 MLshould be forwardly placed in this very weak maiden 12.5 claimer- not
many horses will want to pass each other in this one and the #7 hasn’t ever
faced slow horses like this—most likely winner today for me but hard to fire
too large of bet in a 12.5 maiden race#7 Win
Race 8- TURF#5 Cite 10-1
ML had the look rising turf horse early last year in his 3 yr old season but
never panned out and put on the bench for the last 7 months- his best two races
were at this track last Jan and Feb and Mott put some nice works in for his
return—there are no world beaters in this one-- #5 Win and ex and tri box with
all bombs— 4-5-9-13(AE) If race is moved to DIRT then #3 Win
Race 9- TURF#7
Audrique 15-1 showed speed and fade from 1 path on dirt debut and was a 300k
purchase out of Malibu Moon—good enough for me at long odds in this 5 maiden
furlong turf dash loaded with expensive firsters#7 WinIf moved to DIRT--#7 Win same horse with better post today
Race 10—TURFGRADE
IIFt.
Lauderdale S.#8 Almanaar
8-1 ML sure looks like he is ready to fire in 3rd start in the US
for Chad Brown who is hands down the best turf trainer I have ever seen- was
rank early last race and still fired a big race to lose to Chad’s other horse
in here #2 also at 8-1 hmmm seems like a nice exacta angle—ill play #8 Win and
ex box 2-5-8---If on DIRT #4 win
Race 11- Grade IIIHal's Hope S.#7 Team Colors 10-1 ML comes in off a
layoff but loves the track and with his best beats these late from off the
pace—there should be enough to set up his late kick but the one turn mile at GP
is tough for a closer I will admit—hope price justifies#7 Win
Race 12- -TURF#8 I’m
Majestic 6-1 ML set a fast pace and faded against slightly tougher in turf
debut and is well bred expensive purchase for this level but Ritvo likes to win
at her home track especially a finale race Saturday cardIf race moved to DIRT then #13 (AE) Win
