Race 1- #5 Red Fever gets back to his fav track and distance and may be very overlooked based on recent form and high morning line. But his 5 furlong races at this track are good enough to win and looks to be enough front-end types to battle and set up a good late run trip for him. $20 Win #5
Race 2- #1 Enigmatica is definitely an enigma in this enigma of a race in this short field loaded with question mark filly and mares. Showed a little promise as a 2 and 3 yr old and has been shelved multiple times. Works have looked good for return and catches a potentially soft AOC 25k field. The #5 should cash a minor check with a late run as she is the only filly with little questions however doesn’t look like a win candidate to me as I am assuming one of the question mark horses will fire big. Ill hope it’s the #1 and go $20 Win #1 and $10 straight exacta 1 over 5
Race 3- #1 A J’s Amex goes first off the claim for Velez who is having a nice meet so far. The horse needed his last off the layoff and likes the mile distance. Should have the ultimate trip behind 3 or 4 pace types and come running late for it all. $50 Win on #1
Race 4- #2 Prudhoe Bay is my best bet of the day. The favs are all need the lead types and hopefully link up early and falter allowing #2 to come late. Drops in class and has had two great works for Walder off the claim. $100 Win #2
Race 5- #6 Lisa Mila has sped and faded in all starts against MSW on dirt in 5 career starts. Drops, cuts back, and switches to turf. Dam sire is great turf sprint sire. $20 Win #6
Race 6- #4 Takeittotheedge won first time on turf last out against softer as the fav. Romans owns and trains this one has the potential to step right back up and win again if he improves. Amazing turf pedigree so its surprising it took 7 starts until he tried turf. $20 Win #4
Race 7- #9 Mambo at the Gym tries GP turf for the first time after a disappointing 10 starts in 2017. Something tells me he is ready to roll as Jose Ortiz takes off #1 in here after that one dominated last out. $20 Win #9
Race 8- #9 Heart Astray should get the perfect trip right outside the pace early against much easier company after a December try against stakes company at 27-1. Can hold on if pace isn’t too hot. $20 Win #9
Race 9- #3 So Sublime won easily in his first start against state bred msw company at 7 furlongs and this homebred gelding looks the part of a serious race horse. Steps way up and although there are some ultra impressive 3 yr olds in here may be the better horse today $20 Win #3
Race 10- #4 Ferdinanda is my bomb of the day. Gets Lasix and Jose Ortiz for Barclay Tagg and drops from MSW after two horrible starts a few months ago. Been working on turf this month and could wake up at the 20-1 ML. There are no world beaters on paper in this one. $20 Win #4 $5 ex box 1-4-9 which will be big if it hits
