The City of Hallandale Beach is appealing to the Governor to stop racing @ GP.
Stronach, owner of GP, wants to keep racing because the Florida Derby is scheduled for Saturday. He doesn't give a shit about the jockeys and barn employees. Racing is not an "essential" business & I'm amazed they haven't been shut down already.
If they do race, and they probably will, GP may just have their best card of their racing season.
There's a colt in the 4th race #9 South Bend. I love the trainer Stanley Hough but this guy just can't win with Leparoux riding him. Julian as stalked, been closed to the lead and tried closing. But Hough is staying with him again Saturday.
There are some nice colts in this race but I haven't capped anything yet.

Big news today is that Javier Castellano has tested positive for Covid-19 & will be off his mounts. Irad Ortiz and Edgar Prado have decided not to ride at this point in time.
Some jocks will be picking up live mounts tomorrow.
Two jocks just got rides in the Florida derby due a scratch an AE will get in & a replacement is needed on Pletcher's 20-1 shot #10 Candy Tycoon.
Don't know yet who they are. Doubt anyone will be flying here. Maybe someone from Cali jets in since Santa Anita cancelled racing.
Mikey Smith? Flavian Prat? James Graham? Corey Lanarie would fit. Eric Prado is available since his horse scratched. I think Pletcher will nab Prado. He just tied Angel Cordero for most career wins. He's winning @14% which isn't great but has banked 575k in earnings. BTW...he couldn't get a racing license in Saudi Arabia because he was deemed too old @ 51. WTF?
Even though he ran a good 2nd in the Fountain Of Youth @ 20-1, the ML is still 20-1. Manny Franco was on board for that race. The problem I see with him is he took 5 cracks at it before breaking his maiden. He could be rounding into form OR he could be in way over his head! 
I always thought announcer Caton Brader was married to jock Florent Geroux. She's married to Geroux's agent. Her hubby probably feeds her some good info to keep peace in the family.
