Haven't Seen This Guy In A Long Time

Trainer Stanley Hough

I first came aware of this guy when I moved to Florida in 1976. He was always a leading trainer at Calder, Hialeah & Gulfstream. Requet For Parole was probaly his best. Anyway he stopped training for years & got into breeding. I just noticed he is back training for Sagamore Farms & is racing @ Churchill. He usually has his horses ready to fire & he has a couple running this weekend. 

Friday Race 6 #6 Smile More (2-1)  Ricardo Santana rides.

Saturday Race 2 #5 She Love Me (12-1) Landeros rides

Sunday Race 3 #6 Chose Greatness Albarado rides

Santana waited way too long to move & catch #6 in the stretch & finished 2nd on Smile More. Hough had his guy ready but came up short going off as the chalk.

She Love Me ran 3rd @ 17-1; $7.40

Quiet Company ran 3rd; $3.00

Chase Greatness ran 3rd.

Each one of these tired in the stretch until....

Eagle Dance won $13/$7.20/$5.40

Good to see Stanley Hough back training IMO.
