There is a NY racing myth that I believe in because I have seen it happen may times. I've shared this before but I think it's worth repeating.
If trainer David Donk has a horse entered in the final race of a NY racing card, give his horse a very long look & even if he looks like crap on paper, put 2 bucks across the board on them because you don't want to fall victim to the myth. At the end of a card & when Donk wins the last race, people beep their horns until they leave the parking lot to honor David Donk for cashing in the last race.
Tomorrow he has #7 Boca Kitten ML 8-1 in the last race at Belmont. She is stretching out from 6f to 1 1/16th on the turf & finished a closing 3rd in her last when she did lug in a little down the lane & had to regather momentum. I think she'll like the extra distance.
I know this sounds a little crazy but I don't share stuff haphazardly. Give it a look early because once the Preakness sneaks up on you, it will be too late.

BOCA KITTEN was hustled from the start then taken in hand early, stalked the pace on the outside, vied in the three path around the turn, went wrong inside the five-sixteenths and was pulled up while being struck by a foe then was euthanized on the track.
7 Boca Kitten L b 3F 118 6 2 3¨ 2¨ 3¨ 10 Cardenas L 40000 DNF 10DNF 6.60
What can I say other than the myth still lives on....
