I'm really getting sick and tired of the racing industry taking races off the grass in the middle of a card. On friday 10/13 at Laurel all the races were taken off after the 3rd race. I handicapped the pick 4 for races 4-7 and bet the the pick 4 before the 2nd race. The turf course was rated good at the start of racing and they ran the 3rd race on grass. There was no rain since Thursday morning and none was forecast for Friday. I made a bet that cost me $240 in the pick 4 because I liked many of the horses running on grass. Lost all $240 because these pussey jockeys were chicken to ride on a less than firm grass course. Jockeys in Europe ride on yielding and soft Turf all the time. It's time for the racing industry too worry about the betting public not if the jocks refuse to ride or if the horses might break down because of less than firm turf. I bet if the Breeders Cup races needed to be run on Soft or yielding turf courses they wouldn't take those off the grass. Racing wake up and worry about the bettor because WE keep you alive.
