Great looking card- weather looks like it will hold and stay fast and firm. May get wet later in card though. I played these for fast and firm. As always, I play prices don’t win many races. I try to find a few scores and make a profit. Wagering $713

Race 1-  #1 First Alternate  6-1 ML    a few speed horses stretching out here—will be a hot pace which flatters the #6 who is big fav. But I’ll try the #1 at a nice price who figures to be up towards lead and has raced at the distance so maybe can last late vs the closing favorite $25 Win  #1

Race 2- #11 Real Sister 12-1 ML   Turf route on the two turn CD mile turf course and #11 raced well in turf debut at FG stalking a hot pace before fading to 4. Really good turf debut effort in a fast race and will be ignored with many high profile connections entered in here. Interesting that the AE #13 and #14 draw in both sired by War Front making 3 yr old debuts after showing talent at 2.  Can’t ignore these two and will box all three horses up and start a .50 pk 4.  $25  #11   $5 ex box 11-13-14  .50 cent pk 4  11,13,14/3,7,10/1,4,11/3,4,6,7  Cost $54

Race 3- #7 Cummings 8-1 ML  this MSW firster a 250k purchase last fall at OBS from a 7,500 stud fee sire firing bullets working at CD for debut. The tote will tell more but looks part on paper. #25 Win  #7

Race 4- #4  Fifth Title 10-1 ML is a consistent check earner racing at this level and is gets back to CD turf course where he is 2 for 2. The 2 favs both have tougher post positions so this one may get the perfect trip and get there late.  $25 Win  #4  and starting a $.50  pk 4  1,4,11/3,4,6,7/2,3,8/3,5,6 cost $54

Race 5-    #4 Salt Bae 15-1 ML showed a nice stalking dimension and will need it in this 7 furlong Grade II sprint for 3 yr old fillies. Gets Javier also so big jockey upgrade. This race is wide open. $25 Win  #4

Race 6-    #2 Farrell 8-1 ML should be up front early and there isn’t much pace signed on in this Grade I for older fillies and mares. Has won at Churchill (3 out of 7 at CD) so likes the track and is 4 for 7 at distance. $25 Win  #2

Race 7- #6 Kid Perfect 20-1 ML   Garde III 5 furlong turf sprint…  this race is super wide open. There is no stand out and all 11 have a chance. Tons of very fast pace types in this one.  #6 is 1 for 1 at CD and 3 for 4 at the distance. That’s good enough for me    $25 Win  #6

Race 8-     #8 Awesome Slew 5-1 ML  is the best bet of the day. Has faced many times better in past than this weak looking Grade II field-  albeit he was sprinting but has shown he can win at CD at this distance. Not much pace signed on except # 3 Always Dreaming but I am convinced he won’t ever win a race again. I am wagering a bunch of money fading him and hoping the up and coming #4 Backyard Heaven sits right outside him puts him away mid race then the #8 comes and gets it late   $100 Win #8    $50 ex box 4-8 Cost $100    $.50  pick 4  4,8/2,3,4,6,9/6,7,11/5,10,11,13,14  Cost $75

Race 9- #9 Enrage 12-1 ML will appreciate the stretch to 7 furlongs against an unproven field of AOC types..will be a great price cause #2 will bet big off maiden score w/Brown and Ortiz. $25 to win #9

Race 10-    #7 Toinette 12-1 ML has done nothing wrong in lightly run career. 2 for 2 on turf vs much weaker so needs to improve to win this Grade II turf route features #11 Rushing Fall at 4/5 ML and everyone else.  $25 to win #7

Race 11-    #5 Wonder Gadot 20-1 ML has been picking up minor awards vs many of these all year. Seems to want more ground so the 1 1/8 mile distance may push this one to a W finally this year. $25 to win #5

Race 12- #1/1a 5 -1 ML  Juddmonte Farm entry both expensive lightly raced fillies shipping here for a reason I think.  Get two for price of one going for great trainers and should get around 4-1 as both stretching out after sprints. $25 Win #1/1a

Race 13- #1 Jan One  15-1 ML comes back for 3 yr old debut working very fast for Romans. Many can win and worth a shot   $25 Win #1    Also a $5 ex box 1-2-9

Scratches are in-- big scratch in the race 8 The Alysheba as Awesome Slew will go tomorrow in the sprint instead. That hurts me as now I am playing the Chad Brown up and comer Backyard Heaven as a single in my pk 4 and praying he can beat Always Dreaming who I just cant back at low odds. Ill play him for $50 win also -- in last race my #1 is scratched so ill just play a small tri for a $1  2,9/2,9/all

Nice hit on Race 10. Exotics didn’t pay much unfortunately but the win was nice

well a nice pick 4 and a couple win bets gets me in the plus category for the day-- it was a day of almost for me as I had four seconds with big prices and my Oaks play gave me a jolt and then had me shouting for the DQ-    hurts but I made some cash for tomorrow and will be playing deep looking for a score
