Question

Both finished third in their Derby preps with awful trips. Both had even worse Derby's. No real shot. Jockey was replaced on LAL and he won the Preakness and now Union Rags with a new jockey wins the 2012 Belmont.

Both horses have the same running style and were the "favorites" leading up to the Derby. Bad rides ruined any chance in the the Derby and the Prep. LAL came back for redemption and won the Preakness. UR does the same Saturday.

&#xD;&#xA;Not what I am saying.. every race every year and circumstances are different. It&#x27;s valuable to use history in capping, but it needs to make sense. What you are saying is like the compaison that "Kenedy&#x27;s secretary&#x27;s name was Lincoln, and Lincoln&#x27;s secretary&#x27;s name was Kennedy."
