One for Wednesday @ the SPA

OK, this gelding is 7 years old, hasn't raced in almost 18 months but is 8 for 8 ITM with a 8-3-3-2 record. He had 2 bullet workouts @ Belmont prior to shipping up to Sarasota.

Race 6 #6 Thebigfundamental ML 6-1

He's very lightly raced for a 7 year old but Johnny V hopes onboard & they have a past @ Saratoga having won & a 3rd back in 2017. Pletcher is winning @ 35% at the meet & this guy's daddy is Uncle Mo. He owns this guy with his dad.

We'll have to deal with the Ortiz brothers who race for Mott/Rice & the entry for Kantarmaci who has #1 Reed Kan who has won 9 of 21 including his last 2 @ Belmont before shipping North. 

I'd give this one a look-see. 

Thebigfundamental it is! Huge respect at 6-1 without a race in 18 months!

You mentioned Ortiz/Rice.......I'm looking at #5 American Power  closely also.

By the way......Reed Kan just scaratched.

mstr...Linda Rice has been en fuego. American Power missed by a nose after coming off the bench at 12-1 & I think Cancel gave him a questionable ride next time out almost 4 weeks ago. Love the jock upgrade to Jose Ortiz. BOL.

There's an old saying "why race 2 if 1 will do" & I think that applies to the Reed Kan scratch. The 1A ran 2nd to Reed Kan in their last race.

There are a couple of real nice betting opportunities in this race. Billy Mott & Brian Cox are also in the race with double digit ML odds

This one goes off a little after 3:30. I'm watching that lousy storm heading our way right now & have another TV to follow the races. 

Should be a fun race to play.

Race 5 small WP play #5 Wish Upon

Early money has hammered #6 Thebigfundamental from a ML of 6-1 to it's current price of 2-1.

WOW...that was ugly.
