Johnny V picks up the mount on Simplification as Jose Ortiz had already committed to ride Chad Brown's Early Voting.

Creative Minister who won an Allowance race on the Derby card will go in the Preakness. It will cost the owners a 150k supplemental fee for him to race.

White Abarrio is back in South Florida & will not race in the final two legs of the Triple Crown. Smile Happy will also miss the Preakness.

Asmussen has not yet decided if Epicenter will go in the race.

Rich Strike Post time odds in the Preakness ???

Secret Oath. who won the OAKS, is probable to race in the Preakness per Dwayne Lukas.

Epicenter is a go per Asmussen.

Pletcher will enter Early Voting but is unsure of Zandon going.

Saffie Joseph, trainer of White Abarrio, plans to ship Skipplongstocking up from Gulfstream for the race.

All post Derby/OAKS Day testing have been cleared by the lab proving Rich Strike was not juiced per the haters. 

He's skipping the  Preakness,,,,,

Zandon is out as well in the Preakness.

Happy Jack, who finished 14th in the Derby will go in the Preakness & gets a new jockey in Tyler Gafflione.

Armagnac will ship in from Cali. He ran 4th in the SA Derby & has won 2 of 5 in his career. Previously in the Baffert barn, Trainer Tim Yakteen is lucky to attract Irad Ortiz. 

Will Epicenter go off less than even money ?

#3 Fenwick facing a class gap.

#4 Secret Oath was impressive in the Oaks while silencing distance concerns. Must be acknowledged.

#5 Early Voting was smart to skip the Derby but caught going shorter than in the Preakness.

#6 Happy Jack finished 14th in the Derby almost 20 lengths off the winner. 

#7 Armagnac can't pronounce his name and Larry Comus won't have to worry about it either coming into the stretch. 

#8 Epicenter ran a winning race in the Derby but did that empty his tank?

#9 Skippylongstocking has a fun name to say but that's about it.

HIS PREDICTION: #8 EPICENTER, #4 SECRET OATH, #5 EARLY VOTING  

Owner of #8 Epicenter, the donut magnate Ron Winchell, does not want this colt to get caught in the stretch like his colt Midnight Bourbon did last year by Rombauer. He said it's nice being the favorite because it validates your horse but if you lose everyone wants to know what happened.

Dwayne Lukas expects #5 early Voting to go to the lead but that #8 Epicenter won't let him get away & setting it up for Secret Oath to use her "devastating" kick to run them down. Personally, I would expect Irad to go with #5 & 8 with # 7 Armagnac as well.

Happy Jack has one win on his resume & that was in his 1st race back in January. On the bright side, Tyler Gafflione picks up the mount from Bejarano. 

Trainer Antonio Sano is expecting Johnny V to get #1 Simplification a better trip than his colt got in the Derby.

Trainer Kevin McKathan of #3 Fenwick wants to make sure jockey Florent Geroux doesn't get him stopped like Paco Lopez did in the Blue Grass.
