I thought it was a good ride. Orb just wasn&#39;t catching them. I hate it because he was my pick and I look for something to blame but I think it set up perfect for him and he just wasn&#39;t good enough today.

bs rosario held him back too much and it cost him, orb was too far back to catch palice malice.

Its not the jockey its the horse, rosario was on fire today. Orb had his day and will be remembered forever by horse players..... He had a very demanding year and needs a well deserved rest. He had nothing to gain by racing today and if you wanna blame someone blame his owners/trainer.He shouldve been given a rest and pointed towards the summer races after the Preakness.Its only June and Rosario has already won the Dubai world cupKentucky DerbyMet MileWoody Stephens, those are just the ones i can think of off the top of my head. His praise is well deserved

Orb, a really good horse, was tired, always makes one big run,came up short.  Triple crown is very grueling, and unforgiving.Palace Malice skipped the preakness, that helped big time.

&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;I agree with all of your comments---good and bad about Rosario&#x27;s ride.&#xD;&#xA; Orb showed little interest coming out of the gate, so Rosario had to get him up. That said, maybe Rosario should have gotten him out and into it early. Orb was clearly spent by that time and totally gassed to a gallop at the end.
