time to ramble..   lets start with  yesterday.. some of the heroes...

gulfstream..  tyler gaffialone  still winning,  got 5  sat.
lone star , what?  usta be good track.   cj mcmahon  and luis quinonez  both won 4  sat.  none over  $7..
sacramento after  2 days.. couton,antongeorgi,alvarado  all with 3 wins
santa anita..  22 yr old chad lindsay got 2 sat, 16 more before he loses 7 lb bug... rides his first 2 yr old today, closing day at the great race place.  bejarano  44, prat 40 going into  today.  both got 6 mounts today.  congrats  rafael..
woodbine..  had 10 different jocks win yesterday.. including rafael hernandez. who may be staying in canada, hes 18 percent since his return.  hes listed on 6 today..
arlington park.. rob albarado  got 3 on million preview day. ,more on those  races later.
ellis park..  albarado  12-3-3-3  since coming from churchill, bj hernandez  5-2-0-0  since his return.

jim morrill jr  stopped  off at buffalo raceway to win 6 
george napolitano  got 7 at the poconos
chris page  was a 6x winner at scioto downs
billy dobson was one of  four to win twice at saratoga, his two winners $18  and  $163

on friday  july 15  its  del mar ... a couple things to watch and listen to..   trevor denman  will call his 33rd season at del mar after a 7/1/2 month leave to his 500 acre home on a minnesota farm..63 yr old been calling for 44 yrs.  what a pleasure...he will only  call del mar racing..

the del mar p4  ,its last 4 races  will have 300k gurantee on weekdays, and 600k on weekends.  .great pool to play into .. 50 cent  minimun

dug deeper  for this...  the del mar futurity  for 2 yr olds  will be run  sept5,  nominations i believe  are closed.  a huge list..  baffert  has 17 ,two year olds  nominated.  think he might have a big year  ?

arlington park  stakes...

modesty  top  3 finishers    faufiler  graham motion, als gal 2nd, maker, secret someone third, stidham.   all earned automatic berths  in the  beverly d  aug13.

stars and stripes winner   greengrassofwyoming, mike maker,  oprado ole  ,2nd dale romans,  pumpkin rumble  3rd gary scherer earned automtic berths to  american st. leger.

american derby  winner   one mean man  ,bernie flint, 2nd  was makers oscar nominated,  3rd was mike stidhams  tequila joe.  all free rides  to the secretariet  stakes.

arlington handicap  winner  kasaqui for ignaccio  correas, 2nd  went to makers  roman approval, 3rd  went to graham motions  messi

just some names to add to a  big list of nominations  for  arlington million day. aug 13
