Thanks, jr, I only bet a few races a week, or less, you have read some factors I look at, and MUST be decent odds, I have no problem passing on a race, there&#x27;s always another one later or tomorrow.  This is the real horse players downfall, they feel compelled to bet every race including heavy chalk, where reward is clearly not worth the risk.  I could never compete in those tourneys, I need a strong feel for a race to make a selection, but you do a very credible job!

Thanks Zuck, I appreciate your comments as always! However I enjoy the tourney play so I MUST make a selection on every race in the tourney. I actually don't make many plays with a book unless the odds are decent as you said. I don't consider any chalk as a play either (usually) so if I do play a race, I demand value!

It makes absolutely no sense to me to wager 2 bucks on a horse to win any less than 8 smackers. Then again, I only do this for fun so if I lose some it's fine.

NO one will win everyday using my picks, guaranteed.

Jr, everything you say is true, although you tougher than me, I will consider horses less than 3-1 in exotics, even if I think they may be somewhat vulnerable.  Chalk players do go broke, just slowly, they do get more winning tickets, they just don&#x27;t pay so much....

Jr, think I will post here two days in a row.  In the upcoming 7th at Gulfstream, I like the same #2 as you do, more as a flyer.  I do think the chalk here #1 Flameaway will be really tough here pressing fast pace on outside last time first time and grass and should run very well, but will be very short odds.  #2 Mojovation (great name, by the way) ran 4th in the slop last month, should improve on the grass, and with Velasquez staying on him and Pletcher great trainer in this kind of spot, worth a few bucks.  I will box him with #1 and small WPS, at 10-1 ML, why not?
