I don't play very many Pic 3's or 4's but while capping Saturday's cards @ Gulfstream & Fairgrounds I came across this 3 race sequence at Tampa Bay.
Race 3 #1 Liam's Lucky Charm comes across the state from Gulfstream for this 125k stakes. Edgar Zayas leaves GP to ride this one for trainer Ralph Nicks. This colt has been battling a real nice colt for Saffie Joseph named Chance It in his last 3 winning once. He comes back to 7f which is the distance he caught Chance It by a head. He's the ML favorite @ 2-1 & he's in good form.
Race 4 # 7 Power Walker is trained by Georgina Baxter & attracts Tampa top jock in Antonio Gallardo. He won his last @ GP by 3 & also makes the drive to Tampa. ML is 6-1
Race 5 #8 Dudley's Square for Pletcher & Zayas rides. He's a first timer & his works don't show very much. This is a MSW going 6F. Maybe Pletcher found a soft spot here in Tampa for his first try. ML is 5-2 but he'll probably be less than that at post time.
I'll try a $20 Pic 3...1-7-8
I'll also play a Pic 4 by adding chalky Chad Brown's #1 Shelter Island in Race 6.
