Saturday Stable Plays

Have a couple of stable plays later today. Also expect to see Tyler Gafflione's horses to get played more than normal with Saez, the Ortiz Brothers & Castellano all at Tampa.

Race 3 is a no play for me. #3 is a Pletcher/Repole filly who hasn't shown anything yet but is going off @ 7/2

Midnight, I know these Derby futures are a bit of a farce but wife has Epicenter in pool one at 52-1.

GP Race 4 WP #9 Inevitable Me was well bet in his 1st try & was claimed by Danny Gargan. Let's see what he can do here after being dropped in company.

 Wow...52-1...he's looked impressive & wasn't used up by Rosario in the Risen Star looking like he had plenty left.

Tampa may have some rain left today.

GP Race 5 #9 Serenade A Kitten WP

17-1 shot #7 completes a 421k PICK5.

Serenade A Kitten got shutoff twice but finished strong for 3rd. This one goes in the stable.

GP Race 6 #1 Watusha is a beaten favorite in his last for Pletcher/Repole. Tyler picks up the mount from Irad.

Ex wheel #1 with all.

Get ready for heavy storms at Gulfstream. Races may come off the turf later on the card.. 

Just got back from towing a neighbor back to his dock. I advised him not to go out in 5-7 ft. seas especially with these winds.

Time for a Heineken & some ponies again.

GP Race 11 #4 Ludington WP

GP Race 12 Exacta wheel #5 Strong Embrace...Gonzalez picks up a nice mount here with Jose Ortiz in Tampa. This filly closed in a hurry to win last time out but this in is a 16th shorter & Gonzalez needs to time his move. She closed from 8th so she'll be in the back at the start.

Geezzzz..when he asked the filly to move she couldn't because he rode her into a wall of horses. No way he rides this filly again.

Last play FG Race 9 #1 Macee tri key 1 with 2458

FG Race 5 take a look at #11 Circle Back Jack. It's a stable play. 

#11 Circle Back Jack won paying $8.60/$6.20/$3.60; exacta paid $86

#1 Macee won paying $7.20/$4.80/$3.00; exacta paid $64.20; missed the tri.

Both of these were stable plays.
