Saturday Stable Plays

Most of my plays are later in the cards @ GP, AQ, TB & FG but I'll be swinging away at some non-stable plays. Went 3-0 Thurs & 0-3 Friday in CBB. Laying low today.

GP Race 5 #9 Backwoods Boogie WPS

OAK Race 2 # 5 Honorary Degree

#9 Backwoods Boogie won by a nostril with a great ride between horses by Gonzalez @ GP.

Paid $20.00/$9.00/$5.20

#5 @ OAK never picked up his legs.

GPR Race 6....first stable play is chalky #5 Spirit Wind & #6 Strategic Bird.

I'll save my kimchi for other races.

Tyler rode #5 Spirit Wind gate to wire in his 2nd easy race in a row to win a nice 100k stakes.

GP Race 7 stable play #4 Kobla Mas was scratched.

No play in this race.

AQ Race 6 # 13 Eminency WPS.

This one is in my stable & Trainer Rudy Rod goes with this 3rd jockey in 4 races on this colt & a 7lb bug in Gomez.

Sorry, it's #12 not 13

#12 Eminency ran a solid 2nd battling for the lead by tiring @4-1.

GP Race 8 #4 Morning Cocktail WPS is a stable play.

Ganja is so much more potent than when I was 17.

AQ Race 8 #12 Reggae Music Man is a stable play.

Appropriate for the buzz I have.

If you don't have Reggae music on now you should be ashamed of yourself....

#12 Reggae Music Man won paying $12.20/$4.80/$4.10.

GP Race 10 # 9 Yes I'm Free is a stable play.

#9 Yes I'm Free won by a couple lengths coming off the speedball pace with Jaramillo.

Paid $ 14.20/$6.60/$3.40; exacta $104.40

FG Race 8 #2 Gunfighter is a stable play.

AQ Race 9 #1 Rosebug is a stable play.

Rosebug ran 3rd.

Gunfighter ran 3rd as well.

4,407 partners own #5 Provocateur who just won the 100k Hutcheson. They are part of a group that were offered a tiny piece of this colt so regular fans can say they own a horse.

With a 60k winner's purse, they each get $$13.62 as their share. How cool is that! And he's a 3 year old colt. Kentucky Derby???????

Last stable race of the day...

OAK Race 9 #7 Beau Luminaire 

#7 Beau Luminaire was out of it early but closed for 3rd @14-1 missing 2nd by a head. Santana was certainly gaining but may have misjudged how far he was behind because it was like 20 lengths.
