Dana's Beauty was run down at the finish line losing by a head.

Critical Theory was there & then we wasn't finishing 4th

My observation of the race was seemed like fighting the pilot down the backstretch for wanting a certain path.  Going to rewatch it shortly (between quarters of the current SEC game).  Could have been was just beaten by a better horse (trip) this afternoon. 

If you get a chance, watch closely during the far turn (heading for home), I'd be interested in your comments on what you see/don't.

 Even though she had to go wide to pass the leaders, I thought she was home free but I saw the winner gobbling up the track & knew she was going to get caught. It was the first time Joe Ortiz has been onboard but I didn't see him do anything wrong other than him taking her into the 4 path & keeping her out there down the lane. She was heavily played with 93k bet on her to win.

Catalano has the winner, Ghostly Girl, is in good form & that was her 3rd winner in a row.

I saw the same thing but was wondering why he kept her that far from the rail when a closer path was available.  He could have done it to save ground.  Would it have been enough?  We'll never know.  Ghostly Girl had a well time move and is know in my watch/stable alert message service.  Wouldn't be surprised if she makes an appearance at GP for her next race - if she came out of okay - on the next big day (I think it's in January).  Hopefully, I'll be able to attend those races in person but for some reason I keep thinking there's something going on in January that I must attend (cousin's wedding out if state) but that date escapes my mind right now.
